It's actually considered "race #5" according to destiny's "building a brave new world GDC presentation" video (can be found on youtube still I believe). You can clearly see the 4 races we all know (about 20-30 minutes into the video they show a screen with 5 races), plus the 5th one, showing a group of weird triangles. When you actually install destiny for the 1st time (or when bungie does a hotfix or small update that doesnt require a DL from Microsoft or Playstation - basically when you see that initial install screen that shows game art), you see this crazy image of triangle shaped space ships, which is implied just the same as the GDC presentation pic. I don't think we'll see this race til later in the destiny series, but a weird thing is that since they added this pic into the install screen of destiny 1, it makes you wonder if they'll show up before destiny 2 or if they got cut and delayed like most of the content (for DLC purposes). Either way, it's gonna get interesting since everyone thinks this is all there is to destiny.... but there's so much more in store.... just waiting for their 10 year plan to unfold is gonna be mind-numbing.
