Akame ga Kill was great. *sips tea*
-
Akame ga Kill felt like it was written by a tryhard rebellious teen trying to impress the cool older kids.
-
Akame ga Kill was a great anime, and was well written. *sips tea*

*Sips more Ginger Ale due to throwing up after hearing praise about Akame ga Kiill*

It's your own fault for not noticing its greatness. *sips tea*
-
Haha, greatness. You make it sound like Akame ga Kill actually did anything right. *eats some fries to go with your salt*

Haters gonna hate. *sips tea*

Agreed. Fanboys gonna never admit to any valid arguments about what they love. I mean fanboys gonna fanboy.

It's not my fault you aren't intelligent enough to understand. *sips tea*

Edited by bip: 4/25/2015 4:46:17 PMUnderstand what? The super intelligent plot? The totally not cliche premise? Or is it just that you're always right no matter what and I'm always wrong because you say so?
-
Tell me, what anime isn't cliché in one way or another? *sips tea*
-
I'd say Madoka Magica. Also, there's a difference between using a couple cliches and being Cliche: The Anime.
-
I have no recollection of AGK being cliché. If there were clichés, most of the main characters wouldn't die. As for Madoka Magica, I have never seen it, so I cannot say whether or not it was clichés. So tell me, what part of Akame ga Kill is cliché? And give me an actual answer, not "The Entire Anime." *sips tea*
-
The concept is a generic "Corrupt government" storyline. The "mature, dark" setting make it seem like it's pandering to the AMC and HBO crowd, while the inclusions of needless character deaths and unnecessarily gory violence make the anime come off as trying too hard to appeal to "mature audiences". All these are cliches that are way too common now, which wouldn't be too bad except the show lives off these overused generic cliches. And you haven't seen Madoka Magica!? Oh man are you missing out. Don't take it at face value, this is really the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover". It's available for stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll.

Edited by NagolKnight: 4/27/2015 4:46:54 PMAlright. I can understand where you're getting at. Although I did find the show really enjoyable. I didn't mind the character deaths, keep in mind that I watch Fairy Tail, where no one dies at all, so it was a good change of pace. Also, I'll check out Madoka Magica. *sips tea*

Even if you're not sure if you like Madoka Magica, just keep watching till you finish episode 3.

WHY ARE YOU SIPPING TEA BRAHHHHHH
-
Because tea reminds me of Akame ga Kill. And I love Akame ga Kill. *sips tea*
Are you going to take the b8 m8?
-
I would, but I know you're lying because tea represents class and refinement, so it can't remind you of Akame ga Kill.
-
I'm drinking black tea. Black=Dark=Akame ga Kill. *sips tea*
-
Dark things can be refined. For example, Bloodborne. Not Akame ga Kill.
-
You mean Loading Screen: The Game? Yeah I've heard of it. Doesn't seem very refined. *sips tea*
