Anyone feel pressing L3 for run...
Is not really working?
i bought my ps4 at Dec and the only game I play is Destiny. I wonder if my controller have problem already.
There were a lot of time when I press run and my character just walk. (Especially right after I stop run and decided to run again). Also there were many time I start running (and I am pushing the L forward) i saw my character start run for a step and then automatically start walking. So frustrating.

1 ReplyIt's not you controller or your ps4. It's destiny. They addressed the glitch few months back but never patched it.

Easiest check is to buy new one and see if that resolves the issue, if it does, then you already fixed the problem. If the issue persist then it is software based, and not much you can do about that. Or you could tear a part the controller and clean everything.

12 RepliesPs4 controllers are comfortable to hold but that's it, chew through the power in next to no time. My L2 and R2 buttons squeak like a bitch straight from the box.

2 Repliesthere is a 2.5 - 3 second sprint cool down. Try it anywhere, sprint for a while, stop and try to sprint again it will not work for a few seconds. It's by design.

mine does that once in awhile. its not the controller, i even got second controller and used that one, same thing

3 RepliesThat's not just a ps4 controller issue. Happens with Xbox one as well. The key is stopping, wait a second then run again. Really notice this when I'm using a titan.

I had a controller do the exact same thing. L3 button is bad. Replace it or fix it are your only 2 options

I really really wish it could be re mapped to be a bumper instead of pressing thumb stick in.

I went through one Xbox controller run button so far in my destiny career and my new controller is already starting to not want to run. Those of us who get excited and mash that run button are ruining our controllers.

3 RepliesWe have some stupid hidden stamina or exhaustion stat. The least the UI team could do is display it...Sorry UI team but this is kind of a problem. It's gotten me killed before during raids when that sprint doesn't start up.
