Typical post:
"Lf5 32s only with tracking rockets only. Must be experienced. Sword bearer needed."
So my question is: what the F*** do you do?
Since you have a bladedancer do the lamps, and then U glitch the bridge and u don't even do the deathsinger, this means you need all this for Crota.
But then only 2x32s throwing gally is enough to bring Crota down on hard, and you only need one sword bearer, so can someone please explain where the hell all those "experienced 32s" got their 32s and experience from?
Oh and can people please stop with this stupid Titan bubble strategy. U need no Titan and no bubble whatsoever. If your swordbearer needs a Titan then he is no swordbearer.

What is wrong with the titan bubble? I feel it is the most efficient and simplest ways to distract the boomers. If we don't have a titan and i am a hunter we just run it. I still die sometimes if i am unable to stay invisible long enough. At crota cp, you are correct in not needing 32's but it makes a big difference at deathsinger and such. Still i agree, it gets old when people are sooo demanding on the forums but i suppose that is their prerogative. I love it when they demand this in vog! I just laugh cause then you know they are noobs. Experience is the key, not level. A 29 or 30 will do fine if they are experienced. Of course most of the experienced vog players probably moved on to level 31-32 by now.

HM I can understand 32's only, definitely not necessary but it's understandable. Asking for the same requirements on normal crota however is a joke. What I do find hilarious is when players post those requirements for VoG...

Big Bump

2 RepliesIf you mean invis stops boomers from hitting you so you don't need a bubble you are sadly mistaken. Doesn't have to be a bubble but it needs to be something
-
The tracking rockets are in case he moves, fairly reasonable. The swordbearer request is probably because no one they have in the fireteam is very good at it, understandable. Asking for only 32s is annoying if you're only doing the crota cp. All you have to do is drop a shield, don't need to be a 32 for that. I personally throw a bubble up after the sword breaks so that no one gets killed by the boomer knights running back into the room.

8 RepliesSend a Warlock or titan up to the center platform on hard swordbearing without a titan bubble and see what happens.

The ward of dawn is just useful why chance having your sword bearer get attacked? When you can avoid it almost all together

2 RepliesEdited by KICKR Snipes: 4/20/2015 12:52:46 PMNot all lfg players are like that. I still run Crota's End three times a week and generally carry one lower level player each run. I don't ever glitch the bridge - I've found that to be the only fun checkpoint in the entire raid and if you do it legit it can be done very fast - only a couple minutes longer than cheesing it. I run the sword on normal mode with my Titan. The real problem with Crota's End is the way Destiny set up it's light level/damage output. If you are trying to do CE on Hard you really need 32's only. 31's can't do any damage on anything in the raid at that level. This is why so many lfg posts are looking for 32's only. If you're not a 32 just do normal mode until you are. Also, 2 32's cannot drop Crota by themselves on hard mode (without shooting 2 -3 rockets each). The damage level scales depending on how many players are in the raid. One level 32 solo player can drop Crota with 2 Gallarhorn rockets, but 2 level 32 players in a six man raid cannot.

1 ReplyEdited by Der Sheff: 4/20/2015 6:10:24 PMSomebody is salty. Why do you care about how other people run raids? If they are successful, let them do their thing. It doesn't appear you're short any completions, so calm down.

1 ReplyAs a separate note I use LFG because technically my whole friends list at one point was randoms. It's still difficult to grab a team when I'm ready though especially towards the end of the week.
-
1 ReplyI saw an lfg post: Level 30 on Crota's End Hard Fresh Raid With No Tracking Rocket ; Dragons Breath was the only thing he had that had a rating over rare.

5 RepliesEdited by wholeshizer: 4/20/2015 5:20:03 PMWhy don't they do deathsinger it's an exotic chance And you don't need a titan bubble but someone does need to distract the Knights so you aren't killed by them and wipe for no reason. You can be my headbanger......throw you in the ogre room and distract the Knights that way since you obviously don't have a tracking rocket and wish to be carried through the raid I got my experience running it with friends and not relying on randoms to do everything for me

Another whining post

2 RepliesExplain how the swordbearer isn't supposed to be killed by the Knights then.
-
Dude they passed out light 32 raid gear like ASID in 1969. I got all that gear for 3 guardians in a week.

1 ReplyIf u don't wanna join the group, then don't. Make your own lfg and shut the hell up. Problem solved.
-
3 RepliesYou do need tracking rockets though. Last week some plank was using dragons breath, making crota move about.
-
6 RepliesThat's your problem? My problem is there's about 20 Xbone LFG threads to every ps4 thread.

1 ReplySays the one that has to use a hunter to be sword bearer. Have you ever done it with a Titan?
-
34 RepliesYou're so wrong with your swordbearer remark it's stupid. Of course he needs a bubble, if a Titan's available. If not, then the team needs to do something else to distract boomers while he is hitting Crota. That's not his responsibility whatsoever. I was all for you through your whole rant (because I dealt with the same shit some time ago) until you went and made a low blow like that at the swordbearer. Think I'm kidding? Think I'm a scrub swordbearer? Go look at my Crota completions. Guarantee you won't find anyone with more completions than I have. And by the way, you must only have experience with Crota on normal because yes, a swordbearer can defeat him without a boomer duty on normal, but that wasn't where your remarks were aimed, they were aimed at hard mode. get good man and actually know what it is your talking about before you start slandering the most important asset of the team. I hope you continue to have troubles finding teams because no one needs to play with anyone holding an attitude like that. I know for a fact you've never ran sword on hard before and don't rate to say what you've said because, well... Swordbearers never have problems finding teams!! You're a scrub with a shit attitude and that's it! Good luck getting carried... or not!

4 RepliesLooks like youve had a bad experience. Maybe join a clan?

2 RepliesSoloed the whole thing on hard with husk of the pit. Git gud scrub
-
8 RepliesYou actually don't need a bubble distraction or someone standing behind a wall and punching or jumping, just Invis as you go up to crota and dps him from behind your out of range for the boomers and gives you more firepower, btw there is no such thing as a real sword bearer needs no bubble it just shows there are many different strategies for swording and we all use what works best for it. If you want to define a sword bearer, define him by his communication skill with the raid team on what he wants done.
-
3 RepliesSome of us don't have to rely on being a hunter to be swordbearer...
-
7 RepliesA hunter doesn't have to run the sword. I've done it in hard with a Titan and a Warlock and since they can't go invisible, you certainly need a bubble. You're obviously one of those ass hats that think only hunters can be sword bearers.
