My first ever vog I picked up the relic obviously not knowing what to do but willing to at least try and I'm still doing it today with excellent results. Too many people shy away from being the quarterback. Too many times I hear I can't hold relic/sword.
Man up and give it a go! Most fun you'll have in the raids imo.

I kinda suck with the sword on CE just now, but getting better with every attempt. And that's what it is about. One day i will wield it with the same confidence as I do the relic on VOG. Too many people just wanna rush it and not give people a chance to learn, and people who wanna learn don't wanna be the reason for multiple wipes. But I will lie about my prowess with the sword until I get enough time with it to be good, otherwise I'll never get to wield it.
