-
Someone has never told you it does more damage than ghorn have they o_O
-
They lied to you
-
Edited by TheGodAmongMen: 4/17/2015 6:24:44 PMIt doesn't do it in a faster timeframe though. G-horn has MUCH higher DPS. Thunderlord has higher DoT(but almost every MG does...) Almost every bit of end game content requires burst damage over sustained damage which is what G-horn provides. Sustained damage just isn't as good at anything in this game...
-
Youve never fought atheon with it have you -_-
-
Edited by TheGodAmongMen: 4/17/2015 6:29:29 PMI have, G-horn kills him quicker. Do this for me. Get a team of 6 people who have G-horn 331 and a team of six people who have thunderlord 331. I can tell you that G-horn will kill him MUCH faster. You clearly have no idea how weapons work in this game.
-
331 vs 302 has no difference in Vault of Glass on hard. There's a damage cap.
-
It would be much easier to find 6 people with 331 than 302... Also at 302 g-horn doesn't have Wolfpack rounds which is where it gets the big damage spike...
-
307* is when Gjallarhorn has Wolfpack if I remember correctly.
-
Sounds about right:p either way 331 would just be easier to find.

Edited by Xaldergeddon: 4/17/2015 6:31:40 PMLol, which one makes atheon move? Ghorn Your one of those people who thinks the only gun in this game is ghorn. Wow
-
Edited by Bieltan: 4/17/2015 11:37:32 PMAtheon moving doesnt matter, Gjallarhorns rockets are of the homing variety, and they are comparing a team of 6 Horns Vs a team of 6 Lords. To address your irrelevant point, yes, it is inconsiderate to whip out the Horn if you are the only one sporting it, which is why I always have my trusty Icebreaker on hand. If I had Black Hammer I'd probably rock that, but I dont :(
-
That sucks man hope you get it soon, but yah, thats what i mean, unless everyone is using one, or most, then its the better choice.
-
Apologies for my snotty tone. Re-read it and it was a bit, erm, brusque lol... Hopefully, Im back on the hunt after a 3 month Hiatus for daddy duty. Aiming to get a Templar checkpoint on Sunday and use my last 2 VoG runs. If I land it, Im gonna get a Gorgon Maze checkpoint and spend the rest of my evening sharing it out on here.
-
Thats cool man, i wasnt "barney" either, thats really nice man.
-
I'll keep you in mind and give you a shout on Sunday if I have an Exotic Chest giveaway going on ;)
-
I doubt you play ps3 though.
-
No :(

I don't think its the only gun in the game I am just helping you with your flawed logic. I am simply saying that a team of all g-horns would CRUSH the time of a team with all Thunderlord. It's not hard to prove. G-horn has the highest DPS in the game, I'm not saying its the only gun you should use, I am simply saying your logic is flawed.
-
Provided everyone has a jellyhorn. But rockets really don't help, since most snipe or aim at critical spot, rockets just make Atheon bounce and move around, which doesn't help the team. Unless everyone is shooting rockets, which normally isn't the case at all.

Edited by TheGodAmongMen: 4/17/2015 6:35:44 PMIf we are going by which one is faster I am talking a full team of both. We are ruling out ALL other weapons at this point of topic. I am talking one team with 6 G-horns and another with 6 thunderlords. I know rockets/grenades or any form of AoE causes Atheon to move.
