Love the idea. I would hire myself out in a heartbeat. 1) merc rewards are fair. I may consider lowering cost to 2000 or 2500 glimmer. Final Fantasy 14 uses a tipping system for craftsmen so maybe that could be incorporated for those willing to give more. 2) to prevent greedy trolling, mercs should get no glimmer if the attempt is failed. 3) mercs should have prerqs, but I'm thinking that completing the nightfall for the week, and being in the boosted state would be good enough. 4) to prevent trolling or afking: if either person leaves they lose half glimmer, and lose nightfall bonuses for the week. Unless a bungie server error of course.

  • 1) that sounds really sweet. Kind of brings a community or personal feel to it. More opportunity for positive vibes is always a good thing :) 2)for sure, my idea was that the merc gets paid upon completion 3) the 1st edit talks about that. Totally agree though I don't really think that completing it would be enough because a lot of people just get carried through it and might not be able to carry someone else through. Someone mentioned that the rewards should scale with how well you do as a merc (kills, time to complete etc.) and maybe that system would alleviate the need for greater requirements for being a merc. 4) Payment would be upon completion so no problem there. I think that if the customer leaves then you could just let the merc finish it and get the rep reward and if the merc is the one that leaves then it counts as a failure and after 2 failures they are booted for the week. Definitely not counting server errors. Thanks for the feedback, I absolutely love that tip idea :)
