your edit 3 sounds like the "VoG Thowback" games I see posted and run a lot on the100.io. People definitely still do this a lot.
Don't understand how people don't know the relic, it is pretty simple especially for the gatekeeper.

Would be nice to get in a run like that. I only have the helmet and chest for my Titan (RNG for VoG is a biotch), but I do have VoC, Epilogue, and Fatebringer maxed out.
