Anybody not bothered about Gjallahorn?
Personally I don't have one, but I don't really care. I've seen what the weapon does, and it looks pretty good but I'm not desperate to get one. If I do get one then great, nice. But if I don't, then so what? Big deal. I've been playing quite happily for the last 6 months or so without one, I'm sure I can continue to get by without it. If Xur ever does sell it I'll more than likely pick it up, just for the sake of it, but at the end of the day I'm just not really bothered about it.
Am I the only one? Or is there anybody else out there without it who feels the same way?

I got a few it's strong but not game breaking like most over hype it to be. It's effective for soloing or two manning crota but it is not needed I went 6 months without it just fine.

I had 3 HoC's before I got my first Gjally. I was content with those 3 lonely maxed HoC's. I witnessed my girlfriend get 3 Gjally's (and 2 Fatebringers, mind you) before I saw either of those sexy bastards drop for me. I enjoy it, (The G'nation) but you can and will get by any obstacle that comes your Guardian way. I'm with you, and everything you said. /nod [spoiler]If Xûr sold it, I'd still pick up two more. Ghorn has almost ruined this game for me. I'm a Day 1/Beta player with way too much time invested in this game. I know level doesn't matter anymore but I had all 3 characters to level 30 with full VoG gear. That was fun!!! I'm still missing a few weapons but Ghorn won't drop for me. I've felt it wasn't in my drop table for a few months now and that just pisses me off. Plain and simple. Maybe I'm a little slow but I can't understand this... A game designed around weapons, yet you have zero control over obtaining said weapons. Anywho, it's a video game and an intangible object we're talking about! So yeah, I agree with you.

1 ReplyMostly all of the people in my group have one. I dont but it doesnt bother me because i have a Hunger of Crota. But when we complete a raid or a strike or a nightfall and if a Gjallarhorn drops for my friend that has 2 already. Thats when i draw the line and say. "... This is bullshit."

Gally is great, just got mine a few weeks back. It is fantastic for end bosses, but almost any other rocket launcher will suffice. I rocked truth for a while which is a great sub and hunger of crota is like a diet gjallahorn but it doesn't take up an exotic slot. With that being said, Thunderlord is still my favorite heavy exotic and it is terrific for eliminating large groups of enemies and works well on bosses.
