If people really left because of the announcement that HoW will have no raid then they are just childish and immature to begin with.
Seriously, let's go back to kindergarten days, what is it that every adult taught us "Don't say you don't like something until you have tried it" or "Don't Judge a book by its cover". That is exactly what these people did.

They are extremely ignorant for making up baseless assumptions and forming an opinion before getting all the facts.
Oh and god forbid you try to defend it because then you are "A Bungie Fanboy"/"Sucker".
Seriously, we got some vague announcements and everyone acts like it is the end of the world. Let's also not forget that Bungie apparently falsely advertized the expansion pass, but let's look at the description for both PSN and XBL's description of it.
XBL:
Purchasing this digital content entitles you to both the digital Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions. Expand your Destiny adventure with brand new story missions, cooperative and competitive multiplayer arenas, and a wealth of all new weapons, armor, and gear to earn.
No mention of raids anywhere in there. Look even closer and it plainly says cooperative arena. Let's look at the psn one to see if it is any different.
PSN:

Still no mention of Raids anywhere. So once again, this is people just implying what they want to hear.
This doesn't even include all the other ones that are assuming that they are going to make a new raid and charge for it seperately.
It's like most of the Destiny community is expecting the worst. Honestly, if they want to be immature, childish, and negative then let them leave. The community as a whole is better of without them.

Proof that it never said Raids. This was also dated before TDB so there is no excuses.

What it says now is not what it said before. People who bought the season pass, or the version of the game with the season pass, digitally pre-release were promised 4 strikes (2 of which are exclusive) and *2* raids. Hell, even after the announcement the expansion pack specifically for house of wolves still said a raid until about 3 hours later. They're going to be releasing a raid before the next expansion most definitely, so people should relax, otherwise they have a lot of people they sold products to that were mislead in what they were buying.

The day they announced there would be no raid psn had up there was going to be a raid. Wouldn't of been a big deal if psn didn't have that up for 3 weeks and people purchasing HoW off of that description. If they decided to leave because the one game mode that lets them play with their friends (I guess it's hard to believe most people have more than 2 friends) that isn't pvp isn't going to be in the update how are they childish? It's childish that it's 2015 and bungie has to limit us on everything in a video game still because they lack the ability to write decent code.

That doesn't change the fact that if you went on to ps store and went to HoW to purchase it, it promotes a raid all the way up to one day after bungie said no raid.

My buddy who is a negative nancy lost $10 in a bet because his negative vibes towards destiny made him believe that how wouldn't release until June. It's quite scary actually how people can assume so much. I live by the the phrases you mentioned
