Plot:
We get locked down inside the prison. Dinklebot is frantically trying to unlock the cell block exit gate while wave after wave of enemies attack (maybe he even 'accidentally' unlocks a few sets of cells releasing more prisoners). Takes 7 waves to complete. Dinkle finally opens the cellblock door
1 ReplyNo, no, no... You get trapped inside when a giant servitor that has been hiding in lake outside the prison chases your team through the outside prison doors and then destroys them. Then you have to make your way through a warren of passages and cellblocks at random until you reach a control room that has a dead awoken within it. In there, you will discover a data pad that Dinks will decipher. The data pad will have a history of who is locked up in the prison, what they did.... blah, blah, blah. As Dinks drones on, your hunter will get bored and pick up a discarded awoken helmet and set it down on the emergency reset button, releasing all prisoners. Dinks will then deliver the best new line of the expansion... "You've released the Fallen!!!" Fallen will pour out of the cells in waves, eventually forcing the team to flee in a running gun battle. Finally, your warlock will have to face down the final end boss, a giant fallen vandal with a flaming sword and a laser whip, on a narrow gangway, in a space hanger that opens directly over the event horizon of a black hole. In the final climatic sequence, the warlock will shatter his Obsidian Mind which will trigger a massive Nova Bomb which will destroy the gangway and drop the vandal into the black hole.... But, at the last second, the laser whip will lash out and wrap around the warlock, dragging him off the platform and into the black hole too... At this point, the mission ends, loot drops and you will rejoin the warlock in orbit; oh, the warlock will get a new white shader....

3 RepliesArena will be a Melee only mode. Where in we go full ass MMA, on every boss we ever faced. Ground and pound Em all guardians; send them home crying :)
-
So. .... its like the entire story mode.
-
4 RepliesProject cars... Project cars... Did I mention Project C.A.R.S. which is an upcoming racing sim and will release before How so go and pre order it now... run away from the soul eating demon called destiny run far and fast... SAVE YOURSELF
-
Haha ugh I really hope not. Seriously.
-
Lol right. Did bungie forget that the whole damn game was already comprised of horde mode sequences.
-
6 RepliesGhost = new claptrap
-
10 RepliesIf there is a horde mode I don't want a last wave. I want it to keep going until everyone is dead
-
Edited by TragicSerenade: 4/16/2015 1:21:19 PMEveryone seems to be forgetting this games' pivotal plot point: There's no time to explain why there's no time to explain!
-
2 RepliesOr maybe the fallen take over your ghost and your ghost locks you in the arena until you die
-
3 RepliesDinklebot is a twat. "This door has been sealed and no one has been able to get in.. I'll need about 5 minutes" "Oh look any door that is locked, I'm gonna need about 5 minutes."
-
3 RepliesWow! That sounds amazing! Take my money... I SAID TAKE IT!! And now that I've parted with it I'll defend this game no matter what.
-
Everyone will be bored with Arena super quickly because they'll realize they've been playing a horde mode since the game released lol

1 ReplyEdited by RichyWoo: 4/16/2015 9:57:54 AMSCRIPT: for everything ever... Gaurdian one: those guys over there look killable. Gaurdian two sweet, lets kill them.
-
2 RepliesPlease tell me you made that up
-
The version you wrote will defintley have more story than the actual destiny version.
-
Seems legit
-
4 RepliesThat's about how far Bungie would get in the time they were allotted for this dlc
-
5 RepliesI expect him to say "oops, wrong door" a few times.
-
1 ReplyMost likely we work our way through the prison where all the inmates have been released. I'm guessing the really bad ones are kept far below away from the light. I'm picturing something like Borderlands 2's Digistruct peak.....at least along those lines. Could add in objectives for each cell block to proceed to the next. I'm just hoping it's not the same old, kill everything while I fumble around with this door
-
Unlikely that's too in depth...
-
1 ReplyHow in depth.
