Is the trials of osiris another iron banner?
Is trials of osiris going to be another iron banner and if it is, is it a timed event.

Kinda just you get a ticket from winning 5 crucible matches and if you lose 3 matches in the trials of Osiris you have to get another ticket, and if you die you have to wait tell the next round, think of search and destroy just without a bomb and bombsites.

Yup the only difference is you buy your way in and get kicked out... Not gunna be worth the wait

1 ReplyI'm pretty sure it'll be around all the time considering to get an invite you need to win I think 5 crucible games in a row to compete than if you lose enough (I thought it was 3) you get booted.

Pretty much, but skirmish. That's about all we know now, Bungie made HoW pve for casuals so I doubt pvp will be different. The crazy requirements for the trials and FoaF are probably gonna be different.

There was an old post by bungie about it months ago that seems to be removed. I stated that it had weekly rewards... this may be changed and why they removed it. But it seems to be staying as it has its own social space.

From what I remember you have to play regular crucible until you're invited to the trials. Of course that's what I've read off of destinypedia.

I just started a topic on this, no replies so I will reply here. IDK if it will be timed, or be like the crucible and you have an option to choose it whenever you are ready. I hope it is, but if that is the case, then a lot of people will abandon the traditional crucible in the game now. Also, if it is timed, will there be an alternating of it and IB? on a side note, interested to see if we get the Queens Wrath as a timed event or if it will be a part of the Reef social area like Eris is at the tower. Think about this, Queen's Wrath weapons, armor, shaders, emblems, and marks. Arena weapons, armor, shaders, emblems, marks, and ships. Trials weapons, armor, shaders, emblems, marks, ships, and speeders. That is potentially a lot of new things in one DLC. Exciting to think about.

It is going to be a pvp event, we just don't know how it will work. Bungie will tell us more about it later in the month.
