I'm new to dark souls and got it only Scholar of the First Sin on my PS4 only yesterday. I have created my character (swordsman) and have gone from that hut through the tunnel and over the rock 'bridge' past the fog doorways to majula. I don't know where to go next, do I have to go through those fog doorways or is there another way to go? I know I sound stupid but this is my first souls game and I'm still learning how everything works, any help will be much appreciated. Also if anyone has tips for me than that would be awesome if you could tell me.

1 ReplyShould I play DSII before getting too invested in Bloodborne? How similar are they?

1 ReplyForest of Fallen Giants which is what people have already said is your most likely goal. On subsequent playthroughs you might be confident to take on Heide's Tower of Flame or even Grave of Saints first Good luck and enjoy

1 ReplySeriously bro. Male mistakes. If u spend less then 60 hrs ur first playthrough, u played wrong.

1 ReplyI would have started dying randomly, so you could get use to that feeling. Embrace it.

4 RepliesYou're headed off to the Forest of the Fallen Giants. At the bonfire in Majula, looking towards the sea, head right along the cliff. Should find your way into a ruin. Past the door in the ruin is your destination. Good luck, and have fun!

1 ReplyEdited by alpha wolf1504: 4/15/2015 4:06:12 AMThe doors are tutorial areas with useful items, go back and go through them. Then you have two choices, the tower of flame, or the forest of fallen Giants. The forest would be a better place to start for your first play through. The way to the forest is next to the majula bonfire, while the tower of flame is on the other side from where you came in.
hope this helps
1 ReplyThe usual way to go is the Forest of Giants which is right next to the Majula bonfire. Just walk towards the ocean behind the wall. You can also go through that doorway and down the stairs (forgot what that area is called) and that continues you through the rest of the story. Giants forest is easier IMO for a first playthrough
