How to get a refund for HoW
Call 1 800-345-7669 pick option 5. Wait about 25 minutes.
Then tell them you want a refund for the expansion pack you purchased.
Make sure to argue that in fact you have not downloaded HoW yet there for you have not taken ownership of the item and is entitled for a refund even if partial (if you both both packs at once)
Don't give up, they will give you account credit. Ask for a supervisor and if necessary to be transfered back to the USA.
Remember that you did not download the pack and all pre orders can be refunded.

2 RepliesHonestly if I had preordered HOW I would do this. I fully expect to buy it as well. However there is a matter of not trusting Bungie anymore. The story sucked... That was a surprise. The PVP is God Awful.... Blew my mind on that. The PVE was great but not as advertised... Not an open world limited content you know bla bla bla. The raids were amazing... I even found CE worth $20. But I don't know what this Arena is. I don't trust this new game type will be good. I don't care about 3 probably terrible story missions. I know PVP sucks so I doubt this new mode will be worth my time. So I would suggest everyone hold back from immediately purchasing HOW. So that we can be smart consumers. Send a message to Bungie that their trust needs to be earned again. Or -blam!- it buy the DLC and pray it's good.

I'll be playing HoW because I love the game and already have a huge time investment in destiny that I'm not going to throw away. Am I pissed there's no raid? He'll yeah but I'm not going to cry about it in the forms and feed the trolls more tears. I dont see how the fact OP has shared a method people can argue to get their $20 back gives others the right to personal attack him because they disagree, go do some bounties or something......

2 RepliesI'm happy they kept the raid til later to work on it more. I for one, don't want another crota. A "raid" that's easy as hell and can be solo'd and is full of glitches. I'd rather they worked harder to give me a polished finished product at a later time. Even if I have to pay for another dlc. So get your money back. Then sit back and watch the rest of us pass you by and rank up all our gear. More room for me and my friends.
