Don't Use Golden Gun On Atheon
It only does 2K damage or so? Continue to use your snipers, it's way better for you and the team.
Edit: I mean on Atheon himself
Edit: Hunter's fanboys are shining, stop defending morons, read the damage before you bark.

5 RepliesI'm normally using golden gun to catch up if we're behind on oracles. Ice breaker and black hammer on atheon. Although, I would like to heat what scope people like most on black hammer for atheon.

Shoot down the Supplicants with it (since no one ever seems to do that), and if you have shots left empty at Atheon, then normal guns.

4 RepliesJust got done with a [b]long[/b] VoG session. This guy has corrective measure equipped, and the oracle perk on, and is using hardlight to shoot the oracles. I had to smash half the oracles myself. He was a hunter too, so gg would have worked. Maybe he was a troll, I don't know. He carried over from a successful completion earlier.

Agreed. Stick him with a tripmine. As I remember that'll hit him for over 10k even outside of times vengeance, which seems to be permanently applied to grenades #ProTip

Def agree. Pop your golden gun, help out your squad, and trim a few supplicants off before you leave. Maybe put a few rounds in the Minotaur so he doesn't smack my butt cheeks.

As a hunter, I agree. On any boss, golden gun does nothing. Use it on adds or oracles on VOG.

All these people defending golden gun because you're shooting harpies when that's not what this post is about. I've never met a golden gun hunter who uses his super to clear harpies without being asked to do that instead of shooting atheon. They pop it and fire at atheon. This is what the post is about.

I use it once I run out of icebreaker shots I'll take my three golden gun shots then go back to sniper
