Haven't seen very many people actually excited for the Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris. I think they might've hinted at another Queen's Wrath but not sure.
So who's with me and ready for HoW?!?
Edit: I believe they won't charge us extra for the raid later on... I think they're polishing it up so we have something to hold us till comet.
Edit 2: Almost 150 comments in an hour. Keep the positive feedback going!

I'm pumped about it. My two sons play as well and are excited big time. Would have preferred the raid be included, but it's not that big of a deal, (it'll get here). I'm ready to start seeing what needs to happen to continue leveling up.

3 RepliesLooking forward to it. The only complaint I have is the queens voice from the trailer... It's, different? Give us back the sexy Brit from the reef scenes!

Me. Screw the raid. Just let me play new content. But in that same regard. That update better be good to have content removed from it.

We are the under dogs, 80% of the people complaining are going to have their parents pay for the DLC like before anyway

Me me me. Bring it on

I was hard core into destiny. From release day on I put in hours and hours religiously I was addicted to the game not missing a single day. 3 max lvl characters, over 300 radiant shards, every gun in the game, etc. Then one day I just quit playing and haven't looked back. This was about a month ago. The repetitive nature and constantly grinding the same exact stuff over and over again finally got to me.

Have not played since January, came here and see news about the expansion - Bungie is intentionally ruining this game... Too bad that there are gamers who are willing to pay for their crap

I have over 1200 hours and havnt stopped playing since beta.I'm super excited for how. The reef has been the most inersting part of the game for me and I think the dlc will be great.

*spongebob voice* I'm ready! Also, I agree with your first edit. You can't rush something good.

I can't say I'm excited or annoyed...more indifferent as Destiny has slowly been losing my interest. Been here since Beta...VoG was absolutely phenomenal and really brought a feature that I had never seen on xbox before. The co-operation needed in a team was what I was looking for in a game,a nd VoG had all aspects of that. But when Bungie dropped CE, I have to say that I started losing confidence. For a game that has been in the making for so long, CE was a poor excuse of a dlc only providing 3 very short missions, exotic guns that turned out to be the worst in the game (DB, NLB, Nechro), and a raid that had so many bugs, it didn't even feel like I was playing a game as most of the time was taken trying to find a team that didn't want to sit around and cheese for gear. I still do enjoy running the sword for newbies or people trying to get the raid guns, but now that the long ass winter in Boston is over, Im gonna be putting destiny down until HoW comes out. I will definitely give it a shot, as I have already paid for it, but I doubt I will have the patience I had for CE. I would say for all the bashers, this game provided a lot of hours of gameplay (albeit repetitive) for $60-$80 considering that a 2 hour movie and buying popcorn is close to 1/3 the price. The two raids we have had bring gameplay features that you cant find elsewhere on xbox. But...and this is a big but, I don't think we should be satisfied with what we are getting. This game was meant and marketed as an ever evolving open world shooter...and I think it is far from that. The story line (or lack there of) is appauling. The moment I heard "I don't have time to tell you why I don't have time to tell you" line, I immediately said to my friend, "Are you serious, is this a Steven Segal movie?" The amount of strikes and open world events are limited. In-game player engagement is seriously lacking, as most of the time, if I want to find a raid team/.strike team, I have to go outside of the game to find it online. The tower could have easily been cut into a browser menu to pick up bounties, ammmo etc. Whenever I say this people always try to tell me that the tower is very necessary. And the biggest piece of evidence for lack of content for me is the existence of Xur. There are so little opportunity to find, "earn" exotics that they literally have to sell them to you. I have every exotic (except gjall) mainly cause I created 3 character, but for those with just 1 the amount of opportunities to get an exotic is frankly pathetic. RNG is just a bad system compared to rewarding a piece of gear or weapon for doing something challenging. I am running out of time, but as you can see there are a good things about this game, but for what this game set out to be, CE is a glaring example of what is lacking with bungie.

Anything new will be exciting a lil bummed it won't hold all 6 players for my group has been socializing this way sense release. But i still love this game and always find myself inserting the disc back into the ps4

It sounds like it will be awesome, the prison of elders sounds like it will be great and im glad trials of Osiris actually got made, I was begining to think it would never happen.
-
I'm really excited lol everyone else is pissed for no reason
-
I am super excited for HoW.

To answer the topic question: me.
-
I'm looking forward to it but I'm still disappointed. If arena was 6 players then I'd be totally fine but still not happy. Then again upgrading or old guns is cool as long as it doesn't cost -blam!- tons of glimmer cos -blam!- exclusion zone.
-
At first I was disappointed, but I'm looking forward to something different.
