It's simple. Teams of six like playing with their friends. Bungie has thrived and supported the idea of community-building. My group has 2 raid teams. But now? You're breaking groups apart and leaving the raid community in the dust.
Arenas are a good idea. It's a great way for smaller teams to get the same gear. But that's what it should be, an alternative way of acquiring level 34 gear. It should never be a substitute for raids.
The real problem is that you're tearing PvE groups and teams apart. If there will be no raid for the foreseeable future, then a 6-person mode for the Arena would suffice for now. But this goes against everything you've ever stood for Bungie. Please reconsider.

That is my only complaint with the new mode. A three man fire team is a bit small for proper planning and leads to more of one person possibly carrying the team. Also only having three people into this "arena" hints that its relatively small.

they are simply money hungry wh00res! take my poll bro

6 RepliesDude. I like this idea. Just get everyone in a party. Run the arena at the same time. Make it a race. Problem solved

1 ReplyThey won't. They -blam!-ed you and your friends. They won't be calling the next day either.
-
1 ReplyBungie only stands for -blam!-ing money nowadays

What a lot of people don't realize is the raid they are "creating" for a later release is ALREADY ON THE DAMÑ DISK! They just aren't unlocking it yet so they can charge us for it later. It's like the punchline to the joke they've been telling since the game released.

1 ReplyMy clan and I play for each other. If this is really all you're going to give us, bungie will be lucky if three of us stick around..

3 RepliesIt's not tearing anything apart. You still have the old raids and in the future you'll have more. A lot of other activities are also 3 man.

1 ReplyEdited by qpVIPER1qp: 4/14/2015 5:21:43 AMI'm a little concerned about this myself. I love the idea of a 3 man cooperative arena mode but not dropping a 6 man raid concerns me. I know they said they are working on one for the future but when? Comet? That is september! I think that is poor decision making on bungies part. If they wont release the raid sooner because it is glitchy and not working properly then that concerns me more. Hire someone who knows how to do this stuff. I would be willing to bet that this raid was already planned and built before destiny even released. This troubles me. I see things going in the wrong direction here. On one hand they are doing some small things that make sense to me but then larger issues are not being addressed as well as not releasing the most prominent part of the dlc. At least as far as expectations go. Raids and teamwork are the only thing that makes destiny any fun for me anymore and a lot of people i know feel the same way. Take that away and you will probably alienate and lose a lot of players. Perhaps i am jumping the gun and i try to keep an open mind but after the last dlc disappointment, i was hoping for something epic so...please throw it in my face bungie. Please prove me wrong.

11 RepliesGuess what? ITS NOT A -blam!-ING RAID GO PLAY GLITCHY ADS CROTA THEN TALK ABOUT WANTING ANOTHER RAID. A nice little 3 man and a fine tuned raid later or a glitchfest now like crota and atheon

11 RepliesI thought this too. My raid friends will now be split.
