Words cannot describe how fücking pissed the thought of a raid being replaced by some stupid fücking pvp mode makes me...
If this is the case, why even bother adding any pve content anymore? Just turn this fücking game into counter strike on the fücking moon!!!!

While I don't share the intensity of the OP, I do share his concern regarding Horde Mode as end game mode. Sitting in the middle of an arena defending against wave after wave of enemies until I inevitably die sounds a lot like... Crucible. I can only imagine weapons will now be tied to it too, and I don't like the sound of it. You see, I hate Crucible. I've said it many times before, I can't imagine a more pointless game. I've played enough to know I just won't ever learn to like it. I don't care if I'm better than the other guy, or he's better than me. I don't play this game to play against other people, I like to play cooperatively. I'm glad it exists though, because I know others like it, and this isn't all about me. I just don't want to be forced into it to level up my armor or get the very best weapons. You might argue horde mode is cooperative, but in reality it isn't. It's a 3-man fire team fighting against computerized enemies... you know, like a cheap version of Crucible. This one won't even have the benefit of map rotation. Ladies and gentlemen, surely there is no finer example of the word "repetitious". Now all that being said, I won't care a bit if it's included and no raid is included so long as new weapons are not acquired only through Horde Mode. I just won't use it. However, if I'm forced to play a psuedo-Crucible game to get the best weapons or armor in the game, I'm done. I can improve my PvP play if I choose, but that's not the point. If Bungie is indeed going down that path, they are telling me once and for all they have turned this game completely over to PvP, and if so it's not for me. Nothing personal, I'm not even angry about it, but there would be no point throwing money at a play type I hate. Of course the easy way out of this would be to include the new exotics into the loot tables of VoG and CE. Do that and my concerns disappear in an instant, and I suspect those of a lot of other dedicated PvE players.

Im pretty sure Trials of Osiris is pvp and Prison of the Elders is pve

1 ReplyYes as the previous person siad the arena sounds like the co-op hoard mode we have been asking for. If they do it right like Gears of War Hoard Mode, this would be a lot of fun

Trials of Osiris is the new PvP. Prison of elders is the new pve horde mode. Before you rant you may want to read it again.

It says cooperative dude. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be PvE. Some type of horde mode is my assumption. If it is in fact another PvP add on I'm not sure what I'll do.
