When I first started playing Crucible i played as a titan, when ever a hunter would blade dance i would just titan smash them to counter them. My new character however is a Hunter and I have been having some problems trying to counter the blade dancer.
Ive tried shotguning them but that doesnt seem to work, ive tried to bladedance them at the same time to mixed results. I dont run golden gun because i like to use blink with my hunter, although i think golden gun is probably the best answer.
whats are your guys thoughts, any supers you struggle to counter or have tips on how to counter certain ones?

3 RepliesHunters have the only supers you can counter save for the bubble but we are only talking about offensive type supers. It's where they get the big shaft compared to other warlock and Titan. You can't counter a successfully launched FOH or nova.

Shotgun. Handcannon. Sticky nade. Run away and come back later. Arcblade him with your force wave. Machine gun. Rocket. Melee. Fusion rifle. Jist so much. Easiest super to handle in the entire game.

2 RepliesGo airborne. Most are not smart enough to get you.
-
A full load of Invective to the face can stop them pretty well.
-
Get out of the way....
-
Two options: 1-kill them first, and by that I mean instantaneously, if you see a Warlock or Titan animation go straight to option 2. 2-run away, regroup and prepare to try option 1.
-
I just pray that the Titan leaps too far, the warlock is too far for grenades/melee or hits the door way and kills themselves, and as for the hunter...I hope he doesn't see me.

Super them first. Or kill them first. Wow! Im. Im, a genius!
-
Invective. Or two shotguns. Universal remote and found verdict final round

2 RepliesIts very random to counter a fist of havoc ive killed them with 1 shotgun shell at full health my guess is that it would take perfect timing since the Titan was literally in my face.
-
2 RepliesVoid bomb is strangely hard to dodge, the best I've heard to do for it is make them kill them self with it. Golden gun is annoying as well, all you can do is surprise fist of havoc them. Same boat for bladedancers. Bubbles won't stop a Fist of havoc so it's all good there, and you have to use fist of havoc first to win I guess against another one.
-
For bladedancer, try to trick him into following you off a cliff or otherwise wasting the super

With my face

1 ReplyCounter supers? Hmm...... I know!!!! Armentarium with Suppressor grenades!

2 RepliesIf you shoot gg in ward of dawn it overpenetrates

1 ReplyRadiance, keep an eye on warlock ghosts that stay longer than they should, get awat from the melee and use lateral movement to avoid grenades Nova bomb, concentrated fire can score you a kill but not often alone blink can dodge it or sliding if the lock in question whiffs Golden gun, shoot first and last with a special at the appropriate ranges Bladedancer, grenades, high rof shotguns, pocket infinity and high dps primaries like vex and tlw. All while backing up and aiming. Ward of dawn: this is tricky, if they're alone and don't have aol, you can shotgun rush it. If they have friends, really only a super or suicide rocket gives you a chance. Fist of havoc: you don't

9 RepliesEdited by JUNGLISTJ: 4/13/2015 8:18:23 PMReal talk guys! We know they're coming right? We can't really stop them. So try to limit them! What I mean is this: IMO there are two types of super users. 1- panic supers. I'm looking at you my Titan friends lol jk! Waste of meter, didn't help the team/objective, they just didn't want to die- y'know like that's never gonna happen... 2- strategist/team players. They are the exact opposite to 'panic' players. Thoughtful, advantageous gaining, hell these guys may go a whole game without using supers! 2's are the ones we need to worry about I reckon. They'll find 4/5 of your team sitting on a cap- damn all nova bombed! 4/5 more AGAIN this time trying to seek safety in a bubble- golden gunned the lot of ya! Then what happens? Orbs for everyone on that team= more supers to be killed by. The majority of us (inc. me lol) just gotta play smarter! Don't huddle, watch the radar, try to be a '2'! We all get super it's a matter of time use them to your team's advantage don't panic or be selfish. Bladedancers? I don't know what we do about that shit lol...

Truth, if I've heavy ammo, counter-super or, dependent on the super used by said enemy, evade/dodge/run-away..
