Why do I keep losing my ammo for it when I start a new bounty or roc?? Kind of annoying

B/c avoiding abuse If you didn't, you could go farm a strike for heavy ammo then immediately go into a nightfall and still have all it.

The Heavy Ammo loss was fixed for wiping, like in Crota's End or any other activity. They say loss of Heavy ammo when you go to Orbit is intentional. They don't want you just spawning in with full Heavy ammo, they want it to be part of the strategy for you to think how to play.

Whenever you go to orbit you lose heavy ammo, this is to prevent people from farming heavy ammo then joining a activity that focuses on the use of it like per say a nightfall or a crota checkpoint
