Who asked to wear helmets in the tower?
Does Bungie listen at all? They act like they listen to the players and read the forums, but I just don't see how that's true.
I read these forums everyday, and not ONCE have I seen any topic related to wearing helmets in the tower.
It's not hard to read the forums for 5 minutes and figure out what the majority of players are asking for.
So, while I do think it would be a cool new feature, it's not what we are asking for. Read the forums Bungie! Plenty of people have great ideas and simple tweaks to make this game as great as it could/should be. But, they just aren't listening to us, only acting like they are.

I asked for Bungie to use the Crux Of Crota to upgrade the Fatebringer..... And I think they listened :)

2 RepliesThey already know what we want, even before we actually know that we want it. You see, they've got these super advanced database computers that read our minds. Those computers print out spreadsheets, for their non-Indian subcontractor, highly skilled developers, that are chock-full of player subconscious aspirations for Destiny. Just like when I never really thought my AR was a complete piece of shit compared to my PR, then Bungie came and saved the day, by resting all my doubts. Now this helmet innovation is just a sheer masterpiece. The genius who envisioned this Destiny aspect into reality should be recognized, not only by the entire gaming community; but also- they should be on podium in front of the world's leaders for bringing gamers together, with the special needs folks, like myself, who wear helmets in our everyday lives.

What a waste. I get on the forums here and there and I never saw anyone asking for this. I guess it's cool but to me it seems like a lame attempt to help players feel like their character is unique.

I like it. Bungie just gave us a temporary add-on that will quiet us until HoW comes out.

If you notice how many people are wearing them in the tower the answer becomes quite obvious.

It was one of the ideas brought up during the alpha/beta time. However i don't think it trumped the more important issues that weren't even known during that time period. They are listening and it was asked for. I feel the problem here is that most everyone(myself included) feels like all they are doing is the small stuff. They may not be but the purple ball and helmets on in the tower were not concerning me. I would like to know that they will do something bigger that has a positive and larger impact on the community I feel like most of the things that have happened have hurt my experience, not helped. I loved the suros. They nerfed it. The vex was awesome. They nerfed it. I needed alot of vault space but i barely got enough to get the new exotics and legendaries. I spent a lot of time collecting ascendant materials. They made them worthless for the time being. I love ar's in general and they nerfed them. I hate pulse rifles. Don't get me wrong, i don't want to sound unappreciative of what they have done but c'mom bungie make me believe again. Let me enjoy the game like i once did.

To help their marketing perception and appear legitimate, they advocate that they listen to the community when they make updates in order to attempt to reduce criticism

3 RepliesWell have you read Deej's "Community Wish List" I've literally only ever seen one request for guardian facial hair and honestly who cares your guardian is still gonna look like a freak (or fred from scooby do) and gun skins seriously!?!? how about more exotic armors or armors that max light level so we can actually look unique instead of like different colored copies. To put it bluntly, in Destiny no one will read your feedback.

9 RepliesHave you ever considered that maybe one of their own employees thought it would be a cool idea to wear helmets in the tower, and the code writers decided it would be easy to implement? Bungie is not subject to our will, and they shall never be obligated to do anything we want them too. Sometimes, they create stuff because they want to, not because we asked them too.
