Hello, all! I've been seeing an increase in threads wondering about Exotic Bounties lately, so I decided to make a FAQ outlining, hopefully, everything about them! Enjoy! [/spoiler] [/quote] [quote] Q: Steps?! How many steps? [spoiler] The amount of steps for each bounty can vary. But, the average is 7.6, which rounds to 8. Keep in mind, the difficulty of each Exotic Bounty will also vary; some may be easy for you, while others may be extremely hard. [/spoiler] [/quote] [quote] Q: How do I obtain a Vanguard Mentor Missive? [spoiler] By completing all sorts of bounties. Whether they be Iron Banner, Eris Morn, Crucible, or Vanguard Bounties. The first set contains the bounties A Dubious Task, A Light in the Dark, and Toland's Legacy. The second set contains the Shattered Memory Fragment and A Voice in the Wilderness bounties. A Dubious Task gives you the Exotic Shotgun, Invective. Toland's Legacy gives you the Exotic Pulse Rifle, Bad Juju. Shattered Memory Fragment gives you the Exotic Fusion Rifle, Pocket Infinity. Bounties involving the Crucible are likely to reward you with the Pocket Infinity and Super Good Advice Set. I accidentally deleted an Exotic Bounty. Is there any way I can get it back? [spoiler] Unfortunately, no, there is no way to get your abandoned Exotic Bounty back from the void you just accidentally sent it to. [/spoiler] [/quote] [quote] Q: How many Exotic Bounties can I try to do at once? [spoiler] You can try doing all 5 at once! But, beware, it still takes up those 5 spaces in your bounties section. [spoiler] The chances are slim to none, 2% to be exact, which is why the bounties' rewards are so valuable. Some people might receive a Missive from their first bounty, while others might receive their first Missive on thier hundredth bounty. [/spoiler] [/quote] [quote] Q: How do I know if I receive a Vanguard Mentor Missive? [spoiler] You will hear a noise and then see a green indicator over the Postmaster. Head over to it and click on the Missive. Then, it will direct you back to the Bounty Tracker, where you can select which bounty you wish to do. [/spoiler] [/quote] [quote] Q: Are any other bounties going to be coming in future DLCs? [spoiler] There is a Bounty online, An Unknown Patron, that rewards you with the Exotic Scout Rifle, The Fate of all Fools. This bounty is not yet available to the public, as it requires the Trials of Osiris event to be active in order to complete the bounty.
