We all have had that time when a kid below 15 years of age joins our game. But why do you kick them? What I'm saying is the kid isn't a squeaker and he behaves, why u gotta be assholes and kick him?
If you like discussions like these follow me here in BUNGIE I post frequently about 1-3 times a week.
Edit: we reached 600! Best topic ive done so far!
Can we reach 700?plz????

It's all a matter of their respect for teammates
-
Because I can't be bothered to hear how they got every damn gun in their collection, and what flavor Doritos they prefer. Don't kick anyone that can keep it ( mainly) to business, play with the team, and be nice. Many but not all teens fail all of the above.
-
Last time I played with someone below 15 they got pissy and said "omg u guyz are the worst raid team everz! U r so -blam!-in' bad omg -blam!- -blam!- -blam!-" He randomly joined us uninvited. We were just having fun/hanging out and talking... not taking anything super seriously. If we died we died...it was all for fun. No big deal. He was so mad though... but he wouldn't leave! Had to kick him. Not all people 15 and under are like that though. I've met some very mature ones that helped out a lot!
-
the only time to kick is if the person isnt listening and the whole team is suffering. you have to give people a chance.
-
I only kick kids if they're immature or mic swallowers.
-
The only time I have an issue is when they're condescending or unnecessarily rude.
-
3 RepliesI don't kick, I just leave the group. I'm 31 and the few kids around that age(15)that I've played with have been super annoying. I try to play with people close to my age. It's just more fun to play with someone on my own maturity level. I'm in it to have fun and hearing a 14 year old talking down to me is not my idea of that. I give them a chance, but if I can tell by the way the conversation is going that I'm not going to be comfortable and have fun, then I'm out.

5 RepliesHonestly, for me, it's a maturity level thing Then again, I'm 33 and still think farts are funny
-
All I do is pray to rngesus to not give a squeaker a gally
-
You sound a little upset, has this happens to you? Also most people don't like having to shift through person after person to get a raid team so I doubt everyone is kicking because they are a squeaker. My advice is that if you, or anyone you know is being kicked alot, check how skilled they are at the raid and how mature they are. Seems like a lot if squeakers are using their voice as an excuse now when it's actually the skill or their low maturity that is getting them kicked.

There is a fine line between "squeaker" and "kid with a high voice". squeaker is typically a kid that is under the age of 14 that doesn't listen to instruction, is oblivious to the objective, a detriment to the team, and an airhorn in your ear. a kid with a high voice = can be some of those things listed above, but usually just plays for the hell of it. "casual".

6 RepliesYea, im 13 tbh, but if i hear any kid that sounds like Alvin the Chipmunk on Helium, its an automatic kick
-
I'm 29, but I'm only 13.

Can we hit 600?

1 ReplyEdited by DurzoBlint13: 4/27/2015 10:54:54 AMas long as they are not "squeakers" (I HATE squeakers) and they are at least willing to listen to instruction, I don't kick them. If they keep running off and doing stupid stuff like this idiot kept doing Saturday when we were trying to do Templar hard, then they get kicked. First Templar hard kill and dead the whole time and he gets Fatebringer, while that was my 28th Templar hard kill and I STILL cant get it. I hate the ridiculous drop system in this game!

Many of the younger gaming crowd don't exactly set very good examples. That being said I don't inherently remove or berate them when on a fire team. I DO however keep them on a short least when needed.
-
Because I hate kids.
-
1 ReplyWell, i don't boot people except under a few circumstances. * If they are being disrespectful in any way. * If they refuse to co-ordinate with the rest of the fireteam. * If they Join the fireteam without asking. * If they join the fireteam whilst being far below the average requirement for the activity, and pretend that it's not a big deal. Expecting to be carried that simply. (30s in HM Crota, 28 in HM VoG etc). If they ask nicely they are more than welcome. If there's a kid in the fireteam, i ask them to stop screaming/talking without pause or generally being noisy, if they are doing so. If they don't stop i just mute them. I don't boot any kids unless they're being pretentious/pushy.

I enjoy nice people lol for me personally there's always been annoying ass drunk people, people that cuss in every sentence, or kids that don't know how to play the game. Drunk dude always tries to impress people with (insert cheap liquor brand here). No one gives a flying fck lol

3 RepliesEdited by Rob the Thrall: 4/26/2015 3:14:38 PMI remember this one guy apparently was 19, yet sounded like a 14 year old? To this day I sit here and wonder
-
3 RepliesHonestly playing with people 14-17 are the best I hate the older age group 1 because they are washed meaning they suck, 2 because they are bland and not funny, and 3 they are self entitled and feel they are better than anyone that is younger than themselves. This coming from a 22 year old...
-
Tend to not listen, or worse they're Know it All who try to shout out orders because they watched a video on YouTube&that's how it was on the video LoL OR play music(I'm fine with it) but don't hit mute and the rest of the team has to listen to it the whole time. I don't care too much just rather play with an older group.
-
So this post started like.... The 20th or something and it's gone this far. Did I do something good? Lol
-
Edited by Swiftlock: 4/27/2015 2:12:45 AMBecause kids are often obnoxious and unwilling to consistently cooperate with others.
-
15 year olds tend to be more immature, I always find myself kicking 15-18 year olds the most, simply because they're immature
-
4 Replies>argumentative >think they're always right >scream constantly >act like they're MLG
