Thorn bounty is such a b*tch
It's hard enough to find a void damage gun let alone a decent one. Then resetting my progress when I die. I hate crucible!! Hand cannons and shotguns. So crappy!! Can't wait to get this done!!

2 RepliesI don't think this resets when you die, but on the bright side, the lowest score you can have is zero (you can't go negative). Also from a @TeKnoVKNG23 below: "You get 5 points for a void kill or an assist when you damage someone with void (I believe this is true, but not 100%) and -2 when you die, so as long as you can get a good amount of void kills each match you don't even have to have a positive k/d and you can pull this off, it just might take you a bit of time." Keep grinding, totally worth it!!!

3 RepliesIgnore the keyboard champions in this thread, this community is so toxic when it comes to pvp. So much "git good scrub" instead of actually trying to help out. Get a decent void shotgun/fusion and a sniper rifle, even a green or blue will work since damage is normalized in crucible. You want a high impact shotgun or a fast charging fusion rifle with a decent mag size like 5-6. Also grab a void heavy machine gun with decent stability and a big magazine, preferably with field scout. Against All Odds and MG18 Harm's Way are good legendary ones if you can get them in void for this, but a blue from the cryptarch will work just as well. Play control and really camp the flag areas just off to the side where the main combat isn't going to occur and then clean up guys as they come into the area. On smaller maps use your fusion/shotgun and on the bigger maps like Blind Watch and Shores of Time learn the area you can use as choke points and use your void sniper. Map knowledge is really key and you want to know where those heavy ammo boxes are going to spawn. Be at the heavy ammo everytime and this is where that LMG will come in handy. The heavy box will only give you a few rockets which you can use up fast, but if you have an LMG with a big mag or field scout and you play it safe you can use it for most of the match. After the heavy pops just sit back for a bit and let everyone else use theirs, then patiently work around the map and use your high stability LMG to take guys out at a distance and rack up some kills. Even if you only get 3-4 kills out of your LMG you've built up 15-20 points. You get 5 points for a void kill or an assist when you damage someone with void (I believe this is true, but not 100%) and -2 when you die, so as long as you can get a good amount of void kills each match you don't even have to have a positive k/d and you can pull this off, it just might take you a bit of time.

It's not so bad. Grab a void Sniper rifle (Praedyths Revenge), hang back n camp. I hate crucible as well my friend but I was able to grind it out in a few hours - and piss off a ton of people in the process lol.

Atheon's Epilogue, Swordbreaked and Truth......I was running around using secondary and swapped to AE and it sped things up no end. Also, play Inferno because people play more tactically.

Woc, any void shotgun or sniper rifle and void lmg should do the trick! It is just time consuming, playing smart and don't run and gun! And play control.

The first time I did it I used my epilogue back when it was still ok. I really want to keep the special summing pits mission open on my map tho so the tactic im going to go for is just play control like its clash. stay at mid to long use one of my void snipers my epilogue and I also have a void cure with tracking.

1 ReplySeeing how u have all lvl 30+ characters do atheon on hard every week with each and hope rng blesses u with epilogue it is ur only hope or before the patch become a use dead orbits shotgun I'll give u a pass this once To be a noob , I recommend rumble with the gun 10 games of rumble can get u the gun if u mange to stay positive
