Legendary vs. Exotic weapons
Is there an actual difference between legendary and exotic weapons? I mean, exotics are supposed to be better than legendaries, but they' re not always better. Look at the 4th horseman. Why don't they just improve the attack stats of exotics. Armor is another story, that's all fine

2 RepliesThe ONLY difference between Legendary and Exotic Weapons are the [i]unique[/i] Exotic Perks... some are worth the Exotic Slot in your inventory... some aren't. Some Exotics are better for PvE... some for PvP... a [i]few[/i] are good for both. Most Legendaries (and to some extent... a few rares for non-Iron Banner Crucible) can perform just as well depending on the perk sets. There are a couple of Exotic MUST haves for your inventory (even if you're not going to use them all the time): Icebreaker, Red Death, Suros Regime, Plan-C, MIDA Multi-Tool... and yes... Gjallarhorn. While you DON'T need them for the Raids or Iron Banner, they are nice to have, and the Exotic perks [i]can[/i] make some activities a [i]little[/i] easier.

1 ReplyExactly they aren't [b]always[/b] better especially if you're including the fourth horseman, almost all three exotic shotguns kinda suck, where Gjallarhorn, is like an amazing weapon and legendaries almost can't top it

9 RepliesIt's the exotic perk that makes them different. Legendaries with the right roll can be just as powerful, but you can only get an auto rifle that heals you by using Suros.

8 RepliesLike everyone is saying it's the perks, but the New exotics from this dlc have really bad ones. What I've seen is the HOW exotics wont make me replace my hawkmoon or gally. Let's hope the raid gear is better, especially the raid exotic

2 RepliesI think they overestimated the usefulness of a lot of their exotic abilities so they got sub par stats Except the 4th horseman thats just a complete train wreck at this point NLB seems broken too(not just underpowered i mean literally broken like a mistake in the code)

3 RepliesIt is the perks, and let's face it, the exotics are simply awesome, ice breaker, its counterpart is black hammer, I think I'd go with ice breaker for its regen bullets you don't even have to get the crits, bad juju or 123syzygy, oh I dunno but yeah its the perks
