Is there really a secret chest in vog? (Not the spirit bloom chest)
Not sure if this is really a good question topic, as the answer may never be found, but I cant help wondering. I heard there was someone who works for bungie that stated something like "vog's greatest secret is yet to be found" is there credibility to that? And what about all the secret spots, like the alternate path to the templar, or the secret areas around the jumping puzzle. Is there really a secret yet to be found? Or maybe is this all just an elaborate way for bungie to get us interested in doing the raid/playing the game?

It's just a theory but here goes. Go in on hard mode fresh, make sure that you do everything flawlessly I.e don't let the praetorians take the sync plates at the beginning, no sacrifices to the conflux's and last but not least no teleporting of the Templar. Make your ways to the gorgon maze and make sure you all have full heavy and at least 2-3 high Dps rocket launchers. The first patrolling gorgon you must kill then continue through their maze without a detection. Once at the jumping portion you must go to the left cave at the top and jump down to a much smaller cave at the bottom. Either that or the unopened portal. Just my theory but I haven't seen it attempted or been able to try it yet.

1 ReplyEdited by NeonMilkMan: 4/12/2015 8:43:06 PMYa back awhile ago Bungie employees stated that one must go through the raid flawlessly whilst quoting the various sections of The New Testament(must start at Corinthians) until you get the the gatekeeper of course. Now at this point you take the relic down to inactive portal where the relic holder must draw his own blood(with a real knife) and smear it across the TV screen which activates the portal(hate wiping at this part!!!). Now once inside you will find the last chest that Bungie has alluded to countless times on reddit, this chest automatically gives you any exotic you desire and it not based on any RNG. It's a tough chest to get but well worth the effort.

It's a trick. It's not "in" VoG at all. It's in a gave out opposite the entrance. Everyone always rushes through, but once open go find the cave.

A Bungie employee did say not all the secrets had been found, he then retracted that statement. Saying he heard the question wrong.

Edited by SmoggyPluto: 4/12/2015 5:31:14 AM..Spirit Bloom Chest... ..Ascendant Shard/Energy chest for not letting Templar teleport. ..and Gorgon ( exotic chest ) or you may say the other Ascendant Shard / Energy chest is the Gorgon one...tho many don't..because many don't even get it / want... ..it was stated somewhere on this World Wide Web.. someone talking about another hidden chest no one has found..or something.. ..i don't really care to look for it on the WWW.. or in VoG... but "Power To Ya"

Go the alternate way and make a right instead of a left and you should see a small tunnel. Chest will only spawn on no teleports
