I personally think bungie should make it so make gear can be upgraded to max level light or at least the vanguard crucible dead orbit FWC and new monarchy
My personally opinion is then you can stand out more as a player and have your own unique setup and still be level 32
I mean if this was the case your character would have a different look instead of the obvious level 32 is most likely wearing raid gear so not every character looks the same and you have more reason to view their gear not just weapons
Also you could find more stats that are more suitable for your style of gameplay which would then also make player stand out a little bit more
Now I'm not saying just go buy it and get to be level 32
You would still have to get the original piece of gear now like normal but then have to max the piece out then do a upgrade/reset like when upgraded old exotics through xur but leave the stats the same just let the light be increased
Then to continue having people raid and get all the different materials make it so in order to be able to upgrade make it cost raid mats and marks even strange coins or motes of light or all the above
By making the upgrade quite a bit costly then people will still have to fully "earn" their light level 32
EDIT: here let's try this instead of the arguing about how whose the biggest noob for wanting / not wanting this
Just answer this would you enjoy the game a bit more? Having full control of level stats and cosmetic?

19 Replies32 is irrelevant outside of the raid. Being 32 has no significant advantage over a 31 or 30 in end game content. If you want to be unique, drop your light level, you aren't putting yourself at a disadvantage since the highest enemies are level 30. If you aren't raiding, you don't need to be 32.

2 RepliesThis defeats the purpose of the game. This game is a loot grind. It's not about "earning" or any of that crap. If you can buy everything, it cuts down on the average player's play time. Same with all the weapons from the raids. Maybe if there were more than one raid set you could have some unique looks, but definitely not buying it or packages. I say packages because we ALL know none of it would ever drop lol

I like this. Yes.

1 ReplyWish there was a way to earn end game gear solo. Some sort of Epic setting for missions or a strike with more modifiers in it than nightfall currently has.

13 RepliesStill defeats the purpose of end game. The point of end game is to get your gear from a loot system and to work for it. Not to buy it from a vendor or a package

1 ReplyGo raid like everyone else. I'm all for armour customisation but that's about it.
