PC. You can just do so much more with it, and I tend to find more shooters that I enjoy on it. But I still play consoles since you can only play certain games on console.

I'm a console gamer so for me it's an Xbox one. But if you can get some money a build a nice gaming computer than it will stomp every console. My friend has 900-1000 dollar gaming computer that he runs with steam and it's incredible at all of the things he can do.

I tend to prefer Playstation most of the time just because I've been playing PS much longer (since Ps1) and I like the variety on the systems. I've only had Xbox since the 360, but it's also a good choice. At the start of the 360s life it was incredible, and had tons of exclusives. But then MS got lazy and only started to release lame Kinect stuff, so I'm a little butthurt about that lol. I'll probably get a XB1 after Halo5 releases, probably in a Black Friday Sale. I've had a Ps4 since a little after launch, and it finally paid off with Bloodborne. I'm addicted beyond belief. Anybody who has a Ps4 needs to get Bloodborne:) [spoiler]i can't really speak for PC, because I don't play PC. I used to be into a couple RTS's, but I just kinda grew out of that. Imo, PC gaming attracts a different demographic, like tech heads and people who prefer MOBAs and MMOs[/spoiler]

Every week their is a sale on a variety of games, and their are a lot of good F2P games. The only problem with PC is it isn't as easy as "Invite player to party & Game." Yes steam has its on voice chat, but I find Skype is better, which is another thig you need to make an account for. Also, to play multiplayer just you and your friend, you have to make a server for that game. It's easy for some, but for others you need to know how to port forward, which might be hard if your new to PCs.

Pc but only as the mouse and keyboard is better allow that on consoles and it's no competition if you ask me, fps is no longer an issue once this generation of competitive games come out not catering to last gen

In a vacuum, obviously PCs superior in the ways that games are judged by. Graphics, sound, cinematics, immersion, universe size... Current consoles are closing some of the gap but still aren't really close. It's not really a fair comparison though. A console is a toy before or if it's anything more. A PC is a tool that happens to make an excellent toy when configured properly. They're for different things and different people with different needs, different skill sets and different budgets.

Best hardware network etc. PS4 has better hardware than xbone but crappy network. Xbone has good network (supposed to even have dedicated servers for halo 5) but junky hardware that can't even seem to reach 1080p on a lot of games. Didn't want to buy the console 4 times again either when it kept failing. I think consoles are going to die soon when the VR type stuff reaches the masses. I have a gear VR and it is amazing but obviously unfinished yet.

If you are asking what I use, I use xbox. If you are asking which is better, PC is objectively better in almost all aspects.
