Title says it all, it's easy enough to figure out the weekly strike but can't figure out the nightfall. Any help will be appreciated!

Hover over the mission. It will not show rewards if you already did it
-
Check your guardian for blue flames around his/her head , or just put the cursor over the nightfall icon in destination to see if any completion rewards are there

Edited by DidacticRhetoric: 4/10/2015 12:43:06 AMDo you have some shitty reward you don't recall having before sitting in your inventory? Then, yes. Is your character's head flaming blue with outrage in the tower due to the shitty reward you got for running that terrible strike? Then, yes. Do you hate yourself a little bit more for actually allowing yourself to hope for a meaningful reward earlier in the week? Then, yes. If you're still optimistic and think you may get Hawkmoon this week, then no.

Edited by happyguy28: 4/10/2015 12:43:09 AM- check if your character's head is glowing in the tower - check for the XP boost icon on the character menu - check the app or Bungie.net under advisor's for your character. - check to see if there are any rewards listed when hovering over the nightfall icon on the director map. Bonus novelty answer that I saw below: Check if you suddenly have a new legendary shotgun you didn't want [need or ask for].

Wow really?!?!
-
Is there blue shit swirling around your head??
-
17 RepliesIdiot......never play destiny again
-
Are you 7? Or just retarded? Wait, a 7 year old would be able to figure it out.
-
1 ReplyJoking right??
-
Swirlys around your head and also there's a symbol to the left of your avatar in your character management screen. Hover over it with your cursor and it'll describe the active buff from completing the Nightfall.
-
Just look if the nightfall has rewards listed when you hover over it.
-
If you have an new legendary shotgun you do not want then you have completed the nightfall
-
Two things, blue flames coming from your head mean you have and if you hover over it, it won't list any rewards.
-
Is your head glowing blue at the tower?
-
If you don't know you have to run it again to make sure
-
1 ReplyRun through the whole thing again. If you get no rewards, you must have already done it :-)
-
Go to the tower, your head's on fire...

3 Replies1) The icon for it on the destination map is colored in. 2) Your characters head is surrounded by blue flame. 3) There will be a small icon next to your guns in the loadout menu that indicates it is completed as well.
-
If you don't want to log in to check in game, then go to destinytracker.com and look up your gamer tag. If you scroll down enough it should have a spot that tells you if you did nightfall on or not on any of your characters.
-
The Nightfall icon in the map will be colored in and won't display potential rewards.
-
4 RepliesHow would you not know if you did the nightfall?
-
what?

1 ReplyEdited by narcolepticjedi: 4/9/2015 4:43:59 PMIf your characters head is glowing blue in the tower, then you have done it already. If you select the nightfall as your destination and you don't see the "unknown" reward description at the bottom of the event description, then you have already completed it. If you look at your character page and you don't see the nightfall xp buff, then you have not already done it. If you search your inventory, and you have more ascendant energies or shards than you remember, or an unexplained legendary weapon, you've probably already done it.
-
1 ReplyWhen on the map (in game) look at the icon. If it is filled you did it.
-
In game hover over the symbol and it will say "Unknown rewards" if you haven't completed it. In the App just go to your character and click advisors will be gold if you have completed it.
