Best shotgun PVE?
What do you think is the best shotgun for PVE? What are the rolls on it?
Edit: best exotic shotgun is Inective.
Best legendary is hard to tell, a lot of different opinions.
Is Inective worth the exotic slot and why?

Grenadier, field scout, cascade, crowd control are all highly effective. Concentrate on the RoF and mag size. Also keep a couple different shotguns for various burns. They are all extremely effective since the buff.

Any high impact shotgun really. I use my invective. Worked wonders on this night fall for me as well as my crash with void.

I would say invective overall. Swordbreaker is great in VoG. Any rolled shotgun that gives ammo directly to the clip, and has good range and impact would be good to. My hunters Crash is my personal favorite non exotic PvE shotgun.

Invective. Infinite "well planned" ammo. Period...

Swordbreaker very useful. Smokes Minotaurs and anything else with a void shield. You can defend middle conflux on hard gatekeepers solo easily with it. Found verdict still very good for arc shielded enemies.

Invective smokes pretty much anything, awesome fun to use as well, the ammo regenerate is great too

I personally like invective. While I enjoy my felwinters with hammer forged and shot package for pvp, it is not ideal for pve. For pve you generally want a shotgun with high rate of fire for crowd control or getting as much damage into a major/ultra as fast as possible. In pvp you only need one shot and there's generally less crowds to deal with.
