Will we ally with the fallen and cabal?
Seems like there is nothing really stating that they are servants of the darkness, except that they are waging war against us and the rest of the races. But that looks like they took an opportunity to get our golden age shiny shiz rather than anything else.
Vex have their evil black heart and hive their crota and oryx.
Edit: most people seem to think the fallen will join us. I think they Are what's left of their civilisation after The darkness hit them.
Also I think we need the cabal. Their industrial and military might is a big asset. And was their some mention that they are running from something? Darkness perhaps?

I think we may be allies with the fallen and cabal because their the only two races that don’t pray to darkness and running from it but the hive and vex pray to darkness like the heart of the darkness from the black garden

I hope we ally with either of them and get to fight along side them. I remember seeing concept art of a forest, within the forest you could see a hunter on the left and he/she is obviously scouting on the enemies but they were fallen and within their ranks there was a huge bulking soldier which I thought could've been a cabal soldier but it's concept art and nothing more but I'd love to see guardians ally with cabal

Edited by Coochie Tablesaw: 2/10/2016 6:26:59 PMTo be quite honest, the Cabal are not running from anything that I have gathered from Grimoire, in fact they have come to the Sol to take over our galaxy, and a quote in the game (sorry I couldn't say where, just saw it on a Grimoire card once :p) says "You can look back a few solar systems to see the path the Cabal have blazed to get here." They are power-hungry and are taking over the Sol (Or attempting to) But to be quite honest, we are already sort of allies with Fallen. Take Varicks for instance, he is one of the Fallen allied to the queen. And if we boost our allegiance to the Reef in future Destiny expansions or games, we could see Fallen allies.

3 RepliesI think we will ally with the Cabal eventually. Incredibly intelligent war masterminds fighting our same enemies? Yeah! Fallen wouldn't work because they're so divided and their society doesn't seem as sophisticated as the Cabal. They say that the Fallen have a sense of honor and nobility, but I see none of that. I see hungry scavengers. The Cabal, I fee, have the most personality - they do it in a tactical way. Sometimes you can see Legionnaires floating around on their rockets.

1 ReplyAnyone remember that concept art piece with the four-armed fallen leader sitting on a throne? It would feel pretty epic if they had an awesome cut scene with you going to wherever that is and trying to get an alliance with the Fallen king (for lack of a better term). I imagine it would be a bit more intense than the confrontation with the Queen lol.

Well the Queen have fallen guards with her, so maybe they can be reasoned with, but then again that's not to say she has a whole group either.

Allying with the fallen would be too similar to Halo. And the Cabal are apparently immoral (e.g. Blowing up planets for "getting in their way") so I doubt that as well.

2 RepliesFallen....maybe, there has been a time where Fallen helped a Guardian (Cayde) so they seem to have the capacity to know when they need back up. As for the Cabal I seriously doubt they'll ever ally with anyone, if they do then once the alliance reached its end (for whatever goal was being accomplished) they'd likely just turn around and conquer the former allies.

Well the elites have four jaws and humanity teamed up with them in some other game... Vandals have four arms, so maybe?

1 ReplyWe will learn the Vex are the future creations of the warminds sent back in order to correct some past wrong and we will ally with a faction of vex that are more in line with the light. The hive are what we've become and they have followed the vex through the time gates in order to prevent the "prevention". The fallen and cabal happen to be in the middle of it all and alliances between us and certain factions of them could be possible. That's what she didn't have time to tell us about. ;)

In my opinion.. Fallen are REALLY fallen. They are cast aways and fugitives. Former House Lords and Ladies. Nowadays space pirates. sad story.. ;)

if we can come in communication peacefully with some fallen,make a deal,then yes,but that's unlikely. cabal I doubt even more bc they are too big of warmongers. in many ways fallen are similar to humanity,so wed have to see
