Mk.44 stand asides worse than any exotic piece in the game .

Are you kidding? They give extra Heavy Ammo, and that extra Shoulder Charge time is pretty useful in the Crucible.

And 3 seconds extra is not that useful

You'd be surprised. I use them all the time in the Crucible, and that extra 3 seconds makes a world of difference. It's just enough extra time to land a Shoulder Charge; often, my Shoulder Charge cuts out right before I get in range. Not with the Mk. 44 Stand Asides.

If you rely on shoulder charge that much than I guess it's okay but I think having an extra grenade or getting death from above is better. But hey it's all about personal preference.
