The Fine Print (ideas for FreeRoam pvp game type)

Each difficulty has a matchmaking system: Lv20: lvs 20-22 together, lvs 23-27 together, lvs 28-32 together. Requires level 20. Lv24: lvs 22-26 together, lvs 26-28 together, lvs 28-32 together. Requires level 22. Better rewards. Lv28: All levels together. Requires level 26. Better rewards. Lv30: All levels together, completely randomly. Requires level 28. Slightly better rewards. Unranked Lv(random)(different lv each day-24, 28, or 30): open to levels 20+, matches players completely randomly. Provides rewards equal to that of Lv28 standard version (so, when difficulty for this is at 30, Lv28s probably won't play it due to unneeded increased difficulty, while level 30s probably won't actually play it due to inferior rewards. This opens the door for level 27s who are up for a challenge. Beware level 30 days! They suck!) Level-up Path (?): 1. Play story mode to reach level 20. 2. Play Level 20 FreeRoam until you reach level 24. 3. Rank up to Level 26 via the Level 24 playlist. 4. Through the Unranked Playlist, level up to Level 28. On days when the difficulty is set to thirty, use mainly the standard level 24 playlist. Do NOT do level 28 playlist until you are at least level 28- you might end up facing level 32s. 5. Upon finally reaching Level 28, play the level 28 playlist and level 24/28 Unranked playlists, to rank up to level 30. 6. As soon as you reach Level 30, it is time to do the Level 30 playlist. The Unranked Playlist is now more or less irrelevant as its gear is not as good- though it is potentially fine for farming. Mode Specific Weapons/ Armor: (made to help you in this mode- requires at least a top 3 finish- for weapons: once you get this weapon, it has a chance to drop in chests in the game mode for you, however upgraded you have it; for armor: it can be equipped, duh) NOTE: all other weapons from here can have duplicate perks that STACK- except this shotgun's duplicates don't stack (eg 2 rangefinder perks is redundant) Auto Rifle: has two (or one) random main perks, three random stat perks, and life support as a base talent. Low rof archetype. Level 24 gives a rare version, with one random perk rather than two, but Life Support as a base perk. Level 28 gives the legendary version w/ everything the 24 has and the second random perk, and level 30 gives a legendary version that has two base perks rather than the one- both are life support, but they stack. Unranked rewards these based on its level. Life support can be very useful in this gametype. Scout Rifle: average rof archetype with good stability and 20 in a mag. Lv24 gives rare version with full auto and one random perk, along with stat perks, and lower attack. Lv28 gives legendary version with two random perks, legendary attack value, stat perks, and full auto. Lv30 gives legendary version with the addition of a second base perk, hair trigger. It's decent in every stat. It's large mag size helps it keep ammo. Pulse Rifle: average rof archetype. Lv24 gives rare (base perk secret round and a random perk), Lv28 gives legendary (another random perk, more attack), and Lv30 awards a version with Headseeker on top of all that. This pulse rifle works to compensate for any user error. Hand Cannon: High impact archetype. Base perk one is rangefinder, base perk two is grenadier. Hit opponents from afar. A healthy alternative to a sniper rifle. Sniper Rifle: high mag size (5, 6 with field scout), very low impact and low reload speed, average stability. Base perk one is mulligan. Base perk two is return to sender. Compensates for reduced sniper ammo in this game-type. Shotgun: range is 1 less than Felwinter's Lie. Reload speed is one shot regenerated per ten seconds. Rate of fire is below average but surely faster than Felwinter's. Stability is 1. 3 in the magazine (if you use this, use its ammo carefully...) Base perk one is No Backpack- regenerates one shot every ten seconds. Base perk two is Rangefinder (pair with Shot Package, hammer forged/ field scout and something else...NOTE: all other weapons from here can have duplicate perks that STACK- this shotgun's duplicates don't stack (eg 2 rangefinder perks is redundant) Go for hammer forged or field scout. No longer must you worry about finding ammo- but range on shotguns is still an issue. Fusion Rifle: Base perk one is fleet-footed. Base perk two is Third Eye. Has an excellent charge time but only 3 in the magazine. Useful for escaping tight situations (go for a 2nd fleet-footed and a lightweight to get a Fusion Rifle MIDA), eg when caught in crossfire. LMG: Average rate of fire and impact, 60 in mag, takes noticeably long to reload.Base perk one is surplus. Base perk two is performance bonus. Has more ammo than most LMGs. Rocket Launcher: Average stats across the board, but just one shot in a magazine. Base perk one is Grenades and Horseshoes, base perk two is cluster Bombs. Aim for Javelin, field scout, tracking, tripod, or clown cartridge. Armor is only awarded in level 28/ level 30. Level 30 armor has raid level defense rating, though this armor has arguably less desirable stats anyways. Each armor has inverse shadow. Boots give heavy weapon ammo. Gauntlets give special weapon loader. Chests provide a type of primary or special weapon ammo. Helmets provide one random helmet perk along with inverse shadow The weapons are meant to be on par with iron banner weapons- the highest tier of these mode specific weapons could possibly outclass IB weapons in some situations. All mentioned weapons and armor are tailored to this game type, but the armor is more for those who don't yet have the raid armor. I think my favorite idea here is the Unranked playlist.
