I'm sick and tired of people saying destiny sucks
Let's face it destiny is awesome you've got everything a gamer could want: PvP,bosses,campaign levels,great gear, etc. but some people don't agree they say "destiny sucks", "not fun", "gets boring", "it's a waste of time" should I go on? I'm getting kinda tired of people saying that it sucks because it does'nt just give it some slack give bungie time to improve it and BAM you've got the next "halo". Bungie is one of the best produces the best games and with time could make the best game in the world. So stop saying "well this was developed in 2 years and destiny was developed in 6-7 years and destiny sucks so bungie need to step up there game". You know what really makes me mad is people that don't play destiny criticize it. If you agree leave a comment saying that or if someone that does not play hates it comment. Be sure to check out my other suggestions "Exotic events", "The Vex Time-breaker", and "A Better SUROS Regime.

4 RepliesDude you haven't even really begun to work the end game yet so you can't really talk... This game took reportedly up to 7 years to develop... We got... - No cohesive storyline in game - no dedicated servers for PVE or PVP - no real customization options - a poor variety in weapons for the amount of time and money invested - holes cut all throughout the game for later dlc purchase AND because reportedly the original game was too sophisticated for gamers and were told to essentially dumb it down into an sci fi COD for activisions sake... - game breaking raid bugs and glitches - minimal meaningful developer feedback despite being asked to provide them with it. - even less follow through on constructive feedback because we all know raid fixes and free updates and content don't make money for Activision C'mon man... The vision and possibilities were there to be an AMAZING game... But it fell on its face. And after all the hype? This is what the fans get?!?

You should play borderlands sir, destiny is great and all and I've played since release. But I find myself bored at times. I recently bought the handsome collection, and I'm loving it.

The game's campaign can be beaten in a single day if you play non stop. And after you beat it, it's just playing the same missions over and over so you can get better gear. The only thing this game did right was graphics. I would say emersion too, but you can't actually interact with the world (except killing stuff).

Destiny is an ok game, but not a great game. It is a social game made anti-socially. Its pvp is unbalanced and laggy, there is almost no in-game story(lore outside of game doesnt count), the light leveling system and rng gear just doesn't work good. The gameplay is the only good thing it has going for it. But then all the pve is so scripted after 5 runs of anything you can have everything mapped out. Leading to a quick burnout. I enjoy playing Destiny when I play it, but I only do so a few hours a week, because I know it has no depth and will burn out quick. It has potential, but Bungie has a ton of work before Destiny can even think of being on par with the first Halo.

People hate Destiny not because it sucks, but because it was a huge basket of potential that Bungie completely shat on with DLC, shit story, and unfixed bugs and errors. Fun game. Coulda been more. And we were promised more.

I understand your point but you need to do some research and scrub some of the film off your eyes. Destiny has vast room for improvement, but today's bungie is nothing like it was from halo reach back. Most of the talent has left. This game doesn't suck but it is disappointing ad flawed on some of the most basic levels that just screams o bungie's inexperience. While forgivable and understandable that bungie has these problems the game objectively has a lot of faults that no amount of innovation can fix until destiny 2 and that's if bungie decides to actually evolve rather than continue the same framework into the sequel. So many problems are due to how they developed the engine and programming which has a lifespan of the 10 year franchise so I'm tempering in my expectations for the sequel because until we hear something there could potentially be very little improvement even if only next gen due to the engine being developed specifically as a cross-generation engine.

1 ReplyPeople's expectations weren't met and I think that's why many of them say, "Destiny sucks." Also it doesn't help that BNG doesn't interact with the community like they should, that adds to it. (Interacting with the community is key IMO--they are in serious jeopardy of losing the base 2-3 weeks after HoW drops). But for those that do say "Destiny sucks"--it's an accurate statement for them, maybe not to you or me. I don't think it's amazing but also don't think it sucks. It's fun for a while, then gets stale. That's life. But to go a little deeper--what kind of game is Destiny? Remember for the longest time Bungie wouldn't say it was an MMO (it is). Until the Destiny series establishes its identity and has an actual story in the game, no one knows. Until then it's kinda like COD: zombie mode. You play same stuff over and over and over and over and over and over until you reach that ultimate level of boredom with the game and which brings it to an unsatisfactory and unfulfilling ending for a lot of people. Hence people say it sucks

2 RepliesRemember, that is their opinion. You are at a different place in your game. That's great man, I really hope you have fun and I hope it only gets better! But the rest of us, we've been here a while... It was sure there in the beginning for us, just like you. But it isn't there at the end. If Bungie wants to play MMOFPS, They need to feed the beast and crank out content. They should be adding secret gems weekly, but they dont. They should have live admins participating in random, spontaneous world events, but they don't. They should add housing and get it out If the way. Every mmo asks for this eventually. I could literally keep writing nonstop...But why? I don't even think anyone else is listening. Just us.

Destiny has every thing except a story,trading,incentive to continue, a mature player base (not that some dont exist), something besides grinding, group finder, rerolling besides iron banner, CONTENT, etc.

It kinda does suck for you if you don't have Xbox GOLD or "The Dark Below". That's really not hard to get, 20$ isn't that much compared to the actual game price. I'm hoping they add on to destiny with multiple dlc's with a sequel and maybe even farther than that. One more thing, I'm pretty sure it's this month but when is HoW coming out.

Hahahahaha. Says the guy with a max 26 character. Put in hours and you will understand. It's great,but once you finish collecting there is nothing at all to do... 900 hours and I get on once a week to do all exotic drops and weeklies to bank up for house of wolves. Once it drops I'll have 300 motes and will probably get all the gear in a month and then it will be once a week till comet. When comet comes out, the game will be good. Subclasses, 8 more strikes in rotation, 4-5 total raids and at more stuff. Until then, destiny is just an addicting sinkhole for hours.
