Will Black Ops 3 or zombiez Kill Destiny?

Destiny has been lucky in one aspect thus far, there hasn't been shot else to play

1 ReplyDestiny is its own entity, if it hasn't been killed yet by the games that have come out since, its success hinges on Bungie being able to deliver a unique and interesting gameplay experience with its new content. I personally believe they need to drop focus on perfect visual content (really pretty areas) and increase focus on adding more areas, more missions, and a ingame story that can actually immerse a player in their universe. I mean.. as it is now, there is no sense of adventure, urgency, or any real feeling that you are actually protecting humanity in the game. Its all simply Go Kill Aliens! With a few implications that what your doing is protecting humanity, but nothing to actually connect you to that feeling, nothing to connect you to these people in game you are supposedly protecting... You are merely an inhuman killing machine, resurrected to slaughter hordes of alien monsters. No where in this game can I ever get a feeling of a noble purpose, as I simply go from one place to another, killing without end, without result.. Sorry if this turned into a bit of a rant.

Call of Duty blows. Seriously. The franchise is ridiculous. It's the same game, reskinned and repackaged over and over and over. It's like the Scary Movie franchise. First few were funny but, i wish it would just die

Would rather have W@W 2, but whether it really kills it or not is going to be based on how much 'Comet' DLC sells for and its actually worth it. If they don't fix a LOT of the issues with Destiny, that failure plus new COD will be the end of it.

1 ReplyOdd question... Destiny is not a Business but a product. People will continue to buy DLC or future versions regardless of CoD or any other game simply because people have different interests, tastes and overall enjoy having multiple options. Here it is: Just because a new game comes out it does not mean games before it will crash and burn or that a person can no longer play them simply because something else was released.

This is no different than will *insert game* kill destiny? Or will kill. A game is always on the way to dieing out once it's released. No single game will kill destiny.

5 RepliesIt won't kill it for me It feels like COD is getting worse not better, advanced warfare felt like black ops 2 on steroids, but I found myself quit playing after three weeks. The verticality of the playing due to exo suits mixed with quick TTK made it a no go for me. On the surface yes it was the coolest cod yet, but I just couldn't get into it. If black ops 3 has exo suits I won't buy it at all
