I went games shopping the other day and saw titanfall was extremely cheap! I asked what happened and the clerk said it flopped. I bought it and was curious if anyone still plays or if anyone can explain why it flopped. I bought it for 360 so if anyone wants to play MSG me

2 RepliesFlopped? Hell no. Thousands of people play Titanfall every day, including myself and I'm a day one buyer. It's an amazing, fast paced game and a nice change of scenery from Destiny, Battlefield and CoD.
-
8 RepliesI'll tell you what happened to Titanfall. It sucks so people don't play it Simple No need for a thread

Got boring
-
I only like Titanfall because I'm good at it, and each game is usually really action packed.

5 RepliesEdited by Vgnut: 4/9/2015 7:04:35 AMTitanFall suffered from a few things. - Wasn't on PS4 - Marked as the flagship title for the XB1 = TitanFall was attached to a sinking ship - $60 for multiplayer only doesn't fly. COD's offering campaign, multiplayer, and a third mode for the same price. Multiplayer only games are expected to be F2P. On top of that TitanFall didn't offer tons of multiplayer content. Game was grossly overpriced.

1 Replyit flopped because its lack of content, shit even story mode was just the same pvp maps. it was a great game with no depth therefore us gamers got bored w/ it after a few days to a week.
-
1 ReplyIt kinda died off really quick fro the lack of content ruining its longevity thus less people are playing and nome of their friends are buying the gane to play with them. Thus bargain bin.

Titanfall is garbage
-
2 RepliesCod stole it
-
I just got back into Titanfall after getting bored with destiny. Anyone wants to play with me just send a message on live @ NikeTown96

They gave away DLC maps for free and regained a server population.

4 RepliesI wouldn't say it flopped per say. It got excellent sales and the developers got signed on for a sequel almost immediately after release. I think where the "flop" comes in is people thought this was going to be the new COD, and that it was going to replace it. Simple over-hype that didn't pan out for people after release. I personally still play it all the time and have lots of fun with it.
-
I play on 360.
-
It didn't flop at all. A game doesn't flop if it gets picked up for a sequel. It did suffer from being tied to the launch of the Xbox One, and the delay of the 360 version didn't help.
-
It did not flop! Plenty of people have it, myself included. It's a badass game.
-
2 Replies>ps attacks >people not research shit about the games they buy, think there full campaign thing where it was meant to be a multi only game and they threw in campaign later >people that declares every fps cod copy and ripoff as if cod the first and only original fps
your pick
2 RepliesIt flopped, just like evolve.

Edited by Hayabusam60: 4/9/2015 1:24:04 PMWay too repetitive and boring, not too mention that the bots were laughable. Very few game modes and weapons at launch, no story etc.
-
It died in five days
-
I loved it. Still play it here and there. I'm trying to kick Destiny at the moment with Dark Souls 2, but I'll be playing more TF soon, as long as the servers stay up. And it wasn't a flop, not by a longshot.

When it came out you got very little for the 60 dollar price tag. Just online play with a few types of pvp. No campaign mode. The Campaign in this game consists of 3 0r 4 pvp matches with a recording at the end. The weapon selection is the most basic I've seen in recent memory. Maybe like 10 guns to choose from. Each dlc was 15 bucks and only consisted of 3 pvp maps. No weapons or anything. Try talking about a game lacking content and sucking money from gamers. That would be titanfall. The game play was awesome, but not for the money they charged.

Titanfall was good for a couple weeks but got boring quick hopefully they add more variety to titanfall 2
-
They just gave out the DLC for Titanfall for free. Yea their desperate.
-
Played the open beta was in absolute love with the game.. When it actually came out all that excitement immediately fizzled out after hours. I'm still not really sure what it was about the game but obviously I wasn't alone.

Edited by DirtBoiSp3cial: 4/9/2015 3:55:32 AMIt should be known a memorable game needs no multiplayer if a game needs it then it may not last forever.

Make sure to get all the expansions, they're all free forever
