Not the same at all. You actually have to do specific tasks to get the best gear in the game and then others to upgrade that gear to the highest. Which usually takes months. In destiny you can casually play for 3 weeks and get endgame on multiple characters. You don't even need to do anything along the story or strikes to get it either, it'll take longer without but it's unneeded.

Im with you how easy it is to get gears and stuff in this game which makes me confuse about why people complaining.. I dont think its broken tho. They just need to tweak it to make it better.

Im pretty sure they will. I mean the damn game aint even a year old. But they need to make changes quick or this game is going down the drain quick.

I think it's halfway down already. They should change the "characters transfer to destiny 2" and force a restart but make everything correct the first time. A full blown rpg with guns and a first person view. Explorable cities and crafting system. If the need more funding they can throw up a kickstarted that rewards with beta keys and a discount code. Or even a cash shop that has costume items and limited mounts and shit

Bro we got the exact same idea for this game!! Thats how i pictures this game when it was going to be released. I hope they make drastic changes and make the game better.

They ruin everything. They didn't realize that if you put a complete game out at one time, it'll take people more than 2 weeks to beat it which gives time to formulate weekly events like they were going to have and add content in large patches all at once

Activision ruined this shit. Bungie shouldve never listened to them at all! They shouldve just let them release most of the content then start adding to it and like you said do weekly event and stuff. Another thing they need are in game masters who can do events daily or weekly like other mmorpg games. That would make the community engage better with each other. Maybe also add clan wars or something like that someday too!

Lol. After a week in other MMORPG's, we'd have some decent gear and weapons ([b]not the best, but decent[/b]). After a week in this game, I still haven't seen a purple engram drop. And truthfully, it's been longer than a week since I've seen the color purple fall from an enemy.

Yeah its true but destiny has very limited drops cause they dont have a big inventory of gears and stuff yet. There are more guns in this game than gear (in my own experience anyways). If you want quick decent gear in this game just grind vanguard its quick. The system isnt perfect but its not broken either.
