I personally think the whole thing revolves around Bungie being an ex Microsoft 1st party and wanting to prove to the PS players that they will support them. Not the same as Insomniac who still make 2nd party games for PS and now do one for XB. Bungie going multiplatform is big news as it was MSs crown jewel. Could you imagine Sony selling off Naughty Dog? If you have come from PS this is how big a deal it is. Bungie were MSs nearest equivalent to ND. Oh and Bungie, we do know you helped ND with multi player on UC2, perhaps you could have asked for advice on PS3 usage for PS3 Destiny.
