As a way of lessening some of the grind and putting "new" content into the game regularly, why not institute a biweekly or a monthly recurring reset on the stat rolls that vendor gear has? Maybe that MG18A the vanguard quartermaster is selling has fire damage with Send It and Aggressive Ballistics next month... Etc etc. Random stats, much like what we get out of engrams and reputation packages. This would give us new things to shoot for without redesigning gear on your end. A biweekly or monthly reset would give people plenty of time to farm marks and so on to get that coveted weapon or helm... But isn't too long if an item isn't very popular, so we could look forward to new rolls in the not too distant future. This would be really neat to see and likely a popular move on your part. VL6 Edit: as an added bonus, this could be a way of instituting a 331 dmg or 33 light version of gear from prior to the Dark Below. Maybe each weapon and armor slot a vendor has could be randomized, so on a given reset we could have a couple of different rocket launchers or scout rifles, etc.
