Why do people say SGA for oracles?
Really?
So you play Atheon with Super Good Advice as your exotic weapon?
What a waste for an easy section anyway lol

Epilogue (melts Oracles) or VoC
Ice Breaker - wastes Atheon
Corrective Measures - destroys everything

Yes I know what SGA's perk does, but it's only good for Oracles and shields in that part

Okay guys, take it down a notch. All of your weapon accusations are good, it's what you prefer. If you use a weird weapon, it shouldn't make you a noob. I understand sga is a good gun for oracles and the oversoul. And black hammer is my favorite for atheon. But it is always what you prefer. Post what you use in the comments below, I wanna know! :)

Black hammer and ghorn are far and away the best weapons on Atheon. If you don't have a ghorn, why not use SGA, since you have a free exotic slot, and you'd have to be a dipshit to use an exotic primary.

You can't say Christmas noobs when I have many Day One friends as well as myself who use SGA for oracles. So just bc you don't use it doesn't mean it's bad. Everyone has a different playstyle

I run Up to oracles: WoC, swordbreaker, ghorn Up to Templar: VoC, icebreaker, HoC At gatekeeper: Fatebringer, blackhammer, ghorn At Atheon: VoC or AE, blackhammer, corrective measures (BH does 20k per crit with WoL. CM is just as backup for oracles, no need for ghorn or rockets.)

Epilogue? It takes like an entire mag to take one down... Fatebringer isn't bad but I like using found verdict.

VoC Black Hammer Gjallarhorn "Oh but it makes him move!". I don't give a -blam!- that he squirms around when he is dead in less than 30 seconds. SGA stands for Shard Give Away. Not good for anything. If you can't take down the oracles before the next one spawns than your garbage and shouldn't be in VoG to begin with.

I use the Ice Breaker and Golden Gun. Golden Gun wrecks oracles that have just spawned and the Ice Breaker...well, it's the Ice Breaker. 'Nuff said.

SGA is a good oracle weapon due to the SGA perk. But imo the best weapon to beat oracles by a mile is Golden Gun. With Achlyophage you can destroy 4 oracles instantaneously on hard. If 2 hunters go in- you're sorted. Plus it allows for Ghorn if you want it. And because times vengeance refills super you can always have golden gun for oracles.

Most of the groups I run with regularly all have Gjallarhorn so no SGA lol.

3 RepliesSGA is apparently good because hitting an oracle counts as a miss. 85% or so of misses are returned to the magazine. So you can essentially kill all oracle with no ammo consumption

For oracles Vision of confluence > Atheons epilogue Also vision deals easier with supplicants.

It's all personal opinion, i used fusion rifles until they got nerfed, now i use a pulse rifle by the name of Timepiece.

I tend to use SGA, Black Hammer and either VoC or the Epilogue (+golden gun for quick oracle/ supplicant kills)
