I think destiny should implement a trading system like a real mmorpg this game is just filled with exotics, legendarys, strange coin, etc... Items that other players don't have by Implementing a trading system everybody would be happy cause people can trade item to other people item that they don't have it's vise versa. Let me know what you destiny fans think an let the developers read this post an comebt down what you think an make sure to check out modernwarnegro.com

Trading should definitely be added to destiny! Defiance wow ect. Have this feature and it has bn great y not on destiny? It would definitely help with building a tight knit community like Bungie has stated as being a goal for the game!

No people will become lazy and nothing will be worth anything.

Exotics will be given away to friends for no reason, destroying the "you earn your exotics" philosophy.
-
Just add trading with xur. Make it so that after every time you complete a raid (the whole thing beginning to end) that you get a reading coin. When XUR comes he will have a certain set of trades. You can trade a gun for a different fun for 3 trading coins. Say xur has hard for Thunderlord, you would also be able to do Thunderlord for hardlight. This would make it so free items can't be given out, items won't be sold, raids will be completed instead of looking for checkpoints, and it would keep the grind because xur won't always have the trade you want.

It's a good idea in theory. But there are many loops holes and problems associated with a simple trading system. Such as those taking advantage of having more than one Gjallarhorn and trying to sell it to a stranger for real money. Which just makes the game experience very tacky at that point. To do any trading system they have to think really carefully about how one would exploit the system and I believe they feel any trading system would be too risky. What they could do though is restructure the RNG system a bit.

I like the thought of it but it would be far to open to abuse as others have said if it was just a free for all trading system
-
No way to trading!!! Just can't happen!!!!
-
I don't think the game has enough of an economy for trading. Especially since you can now buy upgrade materials with marks and the glimmer cap is so easy to reach.
-
Oh hell no! Just look at what that's done to the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode. Real life organized crime has gotten ahold of it. They've had to take the trade market offline a number of times and establish min & max limits due to all the corruption. Bad bad idea.
-
Maybe there could be a dedicated vendor for marketing; you go up to them, choose whether you want the item(s) you're offering to be publicly available (or for a friend), and then you pay a fee to have it sent out. When it is available on the market, it is purchased at a similar cost - or you can trade an item of equal value. It's a rough idea I just came up with, but I believe that this system allows for trading without the whole "Evry1 haz exoticks no 1's errning there ex0tiks o no" problem.

Plain and simple, player to player trading creates opportunities for fraud. So frog like guy is going to take $50 from some 12 year old and not give him a Gally. The forums would go nuts. Only trading they should do is through a merchant like Xyor. Sell him your extra exotic for 15 something. It then goes into that merchant's inventory and can be purchased. Only way to get the new currency is selling exotic items.
-
There is a good side and there is also a bad side. Since this is an RPG, it should invite trading like most others would, but the fact that without a method to prevent trading from getting out of hand its going to get old REALLY fast. Destiny has known try hards, elitist who thinks they can make a bargain, and lucky noobs who thinks they can trade anything for anything. I support trading...but only if it can be maintained or controlled. As for the grinding argument, technically Pokemon is kind of a grinding game and it allows trading so why not this? Technically most RPGs has grinding and they allow trading.

WTS Gjallarhorn $200 usd

No this game was made with the thought of the players getting their reward themselves. Trading would be stupid cause than everybody would be 32 and have every exotic. It would ruin the whole point of grinding for better equipment.
-
No. Game becomes pay to win and too many third parties will be selling gear. It won't be fun trust me
-
Yeah sure if you want to get ripped off by other players or have glitchers duplicate exotics to make it no fun to get them any more. Yeah thats sounds great........
-
Just think I could trade all my warlock materials to someone for all their hunter or titan materials.
-
So let's find a way to get bored with the game faster. Everyone would have everything they need way too fast. If there was triple the amount of content I would say yes but with the amount of guns and armor out there, I would have everything a couple weeks after DLC at the very latest. Then what do I do with the remaining months until the next DLC?

You forgot #sarcasm we all know you aren't being serious
