I have received 10 Dragon Breaths (not exaggerating) as rewards for completing nightfalls and raids. This number does not include purchases from Xur. That is obviously since December when Crota's End was released. Plus, I have yet to receive Gjallarhorn and been playing since day one. For everyone who checks hours played I have recently replaced 2 Warlocks with a Hunter and Titan
I'm not asking for a g-horn. I am suggesting a balanced RNG. No one should receive that many exotics of one weapon and not the other. This system appears to be unbalanced - at least for me. From my experience I have a hard time believing 10 Dragon Breaths and 0 G-horns is random luck.
Thank you.

Just bad luck. Once your Gjallahorn drops, you'll probably get another.

Same here nothing but dragons. They created the hostile environment around this weapon. Some of my friends have quit because of the repetitive gameplay and the unfair rng. They should have given all weapons the same drop chance. Bungie created the whole mess and could fix it easy enough but refuse. I like this game but if we have people dropping out in the first 6 mos how in the hell are we going to make 10 years? Stop making everything so lopsided. People will play the game long term if they are having fun. Not because they are looking for a specific prize, that would get old fast.

Both?

haha i like the "unbalanced RNG" Randomness is what kept this game alive. It's just not meant to get all gear...

1 ReplyI got like 5 Ice Breakers in a row back when TDB first launched. Seems pretty spread out right now when I get exotics. I'd just rack it up as bad luck. RNG is, after all, random.

Some guy had to get that improbable outcome. But you don't know who get's it in advancr. There may even be one with 10 Gjallarhorns.
