I sat on the drop plate in Crota my first time through while a Hunter solod the lamps and I got raid arms. Took 5 minutes? Then did nothing at bridge but wipe and got raid chest. Another 5 minutes? Raid gear is one of the easiest things to get in game. Most people don't even do PvP because they suck at it.

I can solo the raid in bout 40 minutes with no cheese. The raid drops are once a week and not guaranteed. People can afk iron banner and get to rank 5, and people can get carried through their games and just be present. IB gear (for me) is so incredibly easy to get, but I've seen people who desperately go through the CE raid for gear and get nothing.

To get carried to level 5 in IB you'd have to be on pretty much 24/7 because if you're afk your team is at a huge disadvantage. You only get 5 medallions then you get nothing until you win a match. You can make all the excuses you want but grinding to IB 5 takes most of a week, especially if you're going to be afk because you aren't completing any bounties either. I do both and enjoy both but raiding is way easier than IB. Mobs are AI. They spawn in the same place, they use the same weapons, they use the same strategy every time and AI miss most of their shots.. You just said you could SOLO the raid in less than an hour. You ain't soloing anything in IB. In IB you are fighting other humans with different weapons, different spawn points, different strategies, etc.. So don't try to feed me this bullshit that raiding is any more legit or tougher than IB. It's not. And who gives a flying fu## how anyone gets to 32? It's a video game.
