RED DEATH
It's a variation on dale degroff's New York sour.
2oz journeyman silver cross whiskey
1/2 oz Lazzaroni amaretto
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
Combine all ingredients Ina large shaker with ice & shake vigorously.
Pour contents into a tall Collins glass.
Float 1/4 oz of dry red wine (malbec or Merlot is good) on top of the finished cocktail.
