I think the father should be charged with assault as well not saying I wouldn't do the same thing or even potentially kill someone who sexually abused my son but things aren't black and white and he took it to the extreme. Also why is sexual abuse so different between children and teenagers or adults? If a 17 year old is full on råped no one does anything but if said person is 10 years younger then the perpetrator is beaten and jailed? If I let my uncle know who my rapist was and beat or almost or actually killed him I'm sure my uncle would have been found just as guilty. Side thought if the guy was 17 instead of 18 would the father still not be in trouble for beating up a minor?
