It sucks to have a full set of exoctic armor but can only equip one piece at a time.
It would be usefull and would make the character look much cooler

In PvP I fully understand the limitation of 1 exotic gun and 1 exotic armor piece. They want to try to keep it "equal" wether you're a level 9 or 32, not including Iron Banner or Inferno. It still is very unbalanced seeing as a seasoned 32 team could have a Thorn or Suros and each with an exotic, whereas a team of half of them less then 20 cannot use any exotic leaving a big advantage for the 32's. In PvE I can also see where all exotics on the characters will honestly damn near make you indestructible. Now if we had the ability to run 2 exotics across the board wether it be 2 exotic weapons are 2 exotic armor pieces or 1 of each would be nice. If you had for instance, a setup that had a Red Death, Ice Breaker, and Gjallarhorn all equipped in weapons. A Mask of the Third Man, Don't Touch Me gauntlets, Crest of Alpha Lupi and Dance Machines equipped in armor. Think about that scenario for a moment. The amount of havoc you would create would be stupid. You wouldn't need a fireteam ever. It would take the fun out of it for most and leave no challenge. There are tweaks that could be made to equip more then one, but honestly the Raid Gear does a lot of the same perks without all of them.

Full exotic armor would probably do more harm than good. But how about 2 exotic pieces so that way players stand out from each other more. Two pieces wouldn't be op because CROTA gear all has 3 effects and 36 light like most exotics. I just want to use Heart of Praxic Fire with Sunbreakers, it looks SOOO BADASS that I equip HoPF then inspect my Sunbreakers so I can use it as my background.

24 RepliesThere's a reason you can equip only one at a time, having all of the at once would just be broken. Possible warlock: instant health regen on super, decreased grenade/melee cooldown during radiance, and 2 melee charges. Hunter: 4 shots with golden gun, more orbs/rez faster, tripmines last longer, and move faster while ADS. Basically, the exotic limit keeps it balanced.

Would add a higher roof on the levels as well.. By enabling folks to use all exotics..would allow for that "more unique" play style..as each person doesn't have all of the same exotics at the start. A noob may only have 1 gun and 1 armor- Yet someone who's got all of em- can still only use one of each.. Basically- the only difference being- you have a choice of what to use for that specific run- as where the noob has to stick with the same 2. I'd like to be able to play around more with my armor perks. And since we don't have a crafting system- using all exotics.. would kinda make up for it..
