Fang of Ir Yût VS Badger CCL - is the Fang broken?
I kept an eye on how much yellow headshot damage I was doing with both the Fang of Ir Yût and BadgerCCL this morning.
I expected the Fang to do more damage to Hive Majors considering its Hive Disruptor perk but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

If you were to do a different test, say: how much damage you could do in a set amount of time, your results might be different.

Don't have the badger but I like the feel of the fang,plus it does arc so till I get the badger the jury is out.

5 RepliesYou're measuring the wrong thing is why. Hive Disruptor doesn't add to yellow precision damage. It is an entirely separate hit. Look closely next time you make a headshot on a Major Knight. You'll see the yellow damage number come up and then a gray damage number pop up after that. That is the Hive Disruptor hit. This is actually precisely why they needed to disable the Disruptor on Black Hammer. That second hit breaks the precision hit streak required for White Nail.
