If you do normal before hard your normal loot table is removed from hard and if you do hard first the ONLY reason you get double drops is because the normal loot table is added and that doesn't mean a double hard loot chance. It is explained in the most recent news article but here is the paragraph . For Raids, players cannot earn new raid-specific loot from the raid more than once a week per mode. The normal and hard Raid modes have their own separate loot tables, so the two modes can be completed separately or can be combined. Completing normal mode does not lock out earning loot on the incomplete hard mode. However, if a player starts the Raid on hard mode and completes it, they will receive the loot rewards from both the normal and hard difficulty mode. Anyone see a mention of a downside or positive of doing normal first?nope! Cuz it makes ZERO difference. Just hoping this makes people ease up about helping friends on normal before they have done the hard raid,it wouldn't affect your loot at all! Man people are densely stubborn. Edit:no more VoG references as the last news update was desribing the loot for Crotas end NOT VoG. If ANYONE has gotten two pulse rifles from the lanterns or two auto rifles from the bridge please say..but you haven't. if you beat the lanterns on normal you have a chance for gloves/shards energies,if you beat it on hard you have a chance for pulse rifle/shards or energies and if you ONLY beat it on hard you have a chance for a pulse/gloves and double shards/energies...it is all the exact same combined people. I am done replying until someone shows me TWO primary drops from either the lanterns or the Bridge in Crotas end hard mode. Good day to you all :)
