Is don't touch me the best hunter Armor?

Radiant dance machines would have to take the mantle as best hunter armour

If you don't have mask of the third man if handy for blade dancer because of its invisibility perk

The best all around exotic for Hunters is Crest of Alpha Lupi as the only time it doesn't come in handy (aka all its abilities work) is hard raids and certain crucible matches. Otherwise it is handy for everything and Hunters usually are lacking in the support department so this clears that up.

Most armor is situational. Don't touch me's for thrall maze. Mask of third man for crota. Knucklehead radar for crucible or crest of alpha lupi for throwing knife regeneration.

Effectively useless when lightswitch is on. Also for pvp it's not worth using, imo. Exotic helmets are generally better for hunters.

I use Knucklehead Radar. I think it excels passed the other armor just because I mainly don't run bladedancer (when I do I use mask of third man) and unless I'm running vault and killing oracles, I don't use the extra Golden Gun shot from Acliophage

I'm thoroughly convinced they possess the vex teleport powers. They also look legit with crotas gear, check out my 32 hunter. I've gotten no complaints on old boy in the look dept. Sorry, radiant dance machines for pvp though.

I would say it's good in certain situations, like the abyss. Other than that I don't use mine. Symbiote is my go too with third man after that (still leveling that one). Think of it this way, when do you ever need that ability to go invis outside of the abyss or maybe crucible? I would say most of the time you aren't close enough for melee unless you put yourself there.

In PvE they can save your life, but are best in Crotas end

Considering the last version he sold had better stats than what he sold this week, no their not the best and they are purely situational. I have them and they are maxed out, but barely even use them on the abyss.

alot of the time. all the helmats are really good as well though. mask especially for crota. alpha lupi is great for strikes but use of invisibility from touch mes also helps res team mates. but generally yes, I'd say touch mes are the best hunter exotics (especially if blade with shadowjack). The HoW exotics for hunters look very good as well though. I suppose we'll see how they compare later

Amour is situational you need the right one for the job in hand. You can't say any are best just best for certain things.

6 RepliesBest overall hunter exotic as it can be used with both subclasses. It also is the only arm piece that I can recall with inverse shadow. I've been told that it stacks with a inverse shadow helmet as well, but I've only been told that.

No, only really good for the abyss and one-second confusion in the crucible. Helmets like Symbiote and Third Man outclass it
