What's the best way to get a legendary sparrow?
I was just wondering because I have never seen anybody in a team of mine ever get any sparrow period. All I have is a rare vanguard sparrow. Does anybody know the best way to get one?

Since you have a Rare one, when Xur shows up, he'll usually have one or both of these upgrades for 23 Strange Coins: Emerald Coil and Void Drive. Using one of these while your Rare Sparrow is equipped will change it into a Legendary Sparrow. It'll have more speed and durability, and depending on which upgrade you use, it'll change the color of your sparrow's boost contrail. Purple for Void Drive, and Green for Emerald Coil. Note: Your sparrow itself will not change color or any of it's overall appearance when you upgrade it. It will look the same aside from it being legendary and having a colored boost contrail.

2 RepliesBuy an engine from Xur. If you upgrade your rare vanguard sparrow with it it will become legendary. (and hella fast, I prefer my white sparrow with green engine to EV-30 and Timebreaker by a LOT). seriously spend the coins you won't regret it.

Xur sparrow will never be un-equipped. I want one in every color. Plus you can pick the color of the sparrow to upgrade on top of the color of the trail. Also they out speed the raid sparrows and the tumbler.

Atheon hard. I have about 10 timebreakers. You could also buy a rare and upgrade it with xur parts but personsally i think atheon is easier and you're gonna get a shit ton of sparrows.

Buy the dark below. You get one with it. Or run VOG hard. Or upgrade your rare one with the item you can buy from Xur

2 RepliesThe time breaker has a boost that makes it faster than any other Sparrow. However, it's base speed is less than that of a legendary Sparrow. So it's mostly preference. Want the boost function? Raid Sparrow. Want an overall fast legendary Sparrow? Get a rare Sparrow from vendor then get a legendary drive upgrade from xur on the weekends and there you go!
